The short answer
GameTame is a legit Get-Paid-To (GPT) site. It rewards you for completing offers, surveys and other activities, and most of its rewards are made for gamers: in-game items, gaming platform currency and Steam games.
But if you were hoping to earn cash, you will be disappointed: GameTame does not offer cash rewards. The rewards are also relatively low. The real value is its unique rewards, not how much you can earn.

Is GameTame legit and safe?
Yes, GameTame is a legit GPT site that rewards you for the activities it offers. But that does not mean it is worth joining for you. Here is what you should know.
- No cash rewards
You can only redeem in-game items, gaming platform currency, Steam games and gift cards. If you want cash, you will be disappointed.
- Strict rules, or you lose your points
Never make more than one account. Do not use a proxy or VPN to change your IP or country. Never cheat on surveys or offers. Do not log in from a friend’s home, school or café. Otherwise, your account is banned, and all your points are lost.
- Follow offer instructions exactly
You only earn the reward if you follow the offer’s instructions properly. Rewards are not always credited right away: it can take minutes, hours or even days.
- The app is an APK file
The Android app is no longer on the Play Store. You install it manually from an APK file on the GameTame website. The app is user-friendly, but it has ads you have to close from time to time.
My takeIf you are a gamer and want to save a bit of money on your in-game purchases, GameTame can definitely be a good site to join. I especially like that you can redeem Steam video games for a small number of points. If you want to earn cash, I recommend the top survey and GPT sites in your country instead.
How you earn on GameTame
There are 5 ways to earn. Paid offers are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid offersAround 10 to 50 points
The offers come from offerwalls, in-app advertising platforms that promote sites, apps and other software. Most offers ask you to sign up for a site or download an app. Some ask you to answer surveys or quizzes, or play a game.
Click an offerwall, then an offer. You see the reward and what you need to do right away. Understand the instructions completely before you start, or you will not earn the reward. It can take minutes, hours or even days before the reward is credited.
Paid surveysHigher than offers
GameTame acts as a survey router: the surveys come from partner survey sites. Choose a partner, enter basic information like your email and name, and answer a few screening questions.
If you do not qualify, you get nothing and move on to the next survey site. It takes patience, but survey rewards are usually higher than what you get from paid offers.
Bonus ZoneSmall, free
GameTame rewards active members with daily bonuses when you meet their requirements, plus one daily bonus you can claim once a day. The bonus is not much, but it is free and works as a nice checklist of what to do on the site.
Watching videosMinimal points
The videos come from HideoutTV. Register on HideoutTV, go to its Loyalty Program rewards and link your GameTame account. You are really paid to watch the ads before, during and between the videos.
It eats up a lot of time for minimal points, so only do this when there is nothing else to do. See my HideoutTV review for how it works.
Referral program10%
Invite people with your invite link. When they sign up, you earn 10% of what they earn on the site. Only invite people who are really interested in using it.
How much can you make?
Technically, you cannot earn cash from GameTame. But its rewards can be considered cash: Steam Wallet codes, for example, can be used for any purchase on Steam, so you do not spend actual money.
Paid offers usually pay around 10 to 50 points. Offers worth more exist, but they are not that common. Most offers and surveys are also found on other sites, so the earning opportunities are not unique, and the earning potential is not that good.
The real value of GameTame is not how much you can earn, but the unique rewards that are only available on this site.

You earn points for every activity and redeem them for rewards. There is no cash or PayPal option. If you like to play a lot of video games, in-game items are the best reward option, because they do not cost as many points.

GameTame is available globally, so you can sign up regardless of where you live. You must be at least 13. Fill out the registration form and confirm your registration, and you can start earning.
The app is only for Android. When I first tested it, you could download it from the Play Store. Now you install it manually from the APK file on the GameTame website. If you have an iOS device, use the mobile-friendly website in your browser.
