Focus Group Panel Review – Worth It? (A Detailed Look)

Focus Group Panel Rating

Focus Group Panel doesn’t offer any valid earning opportunities, as you cannot earn on the site itself. You should check out the link below instead for great alternatives.

I tested Focus Group Panel to see if it really is a one-stop shop for focus groups. It only lists focus groups from other companies, and its links did not get me to any of them. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

The short answer

Focus Group Panel is a focus group aggregator. For all intents and purposes it is legit, but it does not offer any valid earning opportunities. It only lists focus groups from other companies, and it does not pay you anything itself.

When I tried the recommended opportunities, I could not get to any actual focus group. I only got pop-ups, blank pages and ads. The website is very spammy. I do not recommend you waste your time on it.

  • None that I found
What I don’t like

My experience with Focus Group Panel

I tested Focus Group Panel when I first reviewed it, and I checked back on it a few years later after the website changed. This is what I looked at myself, and what I did not test.

Is Focus Group Panel legit and safe?

For all intents and purposes, Focus Group Panel is a legit site. But it does not give you any real value. These are the red flags I found.

  • It does not take you to the actual focus groups

When I applied for the recommended opportunities, they usually opened a pop-up about the opportunity, but I could not get to the page to sign up. Sometimes I got a blank white page. Other times I had to view an ad before I could continue. It felt more like a paid-to-click site.

  • It does not pay you

The site does not offer its own earning opportunities. Only the company that runs a focus group would pay you.

  • The website is very spammy

You see a lot of ads, and the site is very slow to load because of them. Even after you sign up, it keeps showing you supposed earning opportunities that are really ads.

  • Old listings

When I first tested it, it showed expired opportunities. A reader reports that in March 2026 many listed jobs had expired or closed but were still shown as available.

My takeI never found any reason during my testing to use this site. All you see are a bunch of ads and possibly a bunch of promotional messages in your inbox. You are better off finding ways to earn elsewhere.

How Focus Group Panel works

Focus Group Panel has one supposed way to earn: focus groups from other companies. Tap it to read more.

Focus group listingsNot paid by the site
Focus groups recommended by Focus Group Panel

A focus group brings a group of people together to discuss a topic, with a moderator. The participants usually get paid in cash.

Focus Group Panel does not run focus groups itself. It lists focus groups from other companies and sites, and the idea is that you click a listing to get to the actual opportunity.

In my tests, that did not work. I got pop-ups, blank pages or ads instead of the sign-up page. The website changed after my first test, but it still did not take me to the actual earning opportunities.

How do you get paid?

You do not. Focus Group Panel does not offer its own earning opportunities, so it does not pay you anything. The company that runs a focus group or clinical trial is responsible for any pay you get.
