Earnut Review – Legit or Scam? (Closed: See Best Alternatives)

Earnut Rating

Earnut was a decent site to earn extra money from. But it is currently down for maintenance and has been for many months. So it does not seem like it will come back, and you should focus on alternatives instead.

Earnut is a Get-Paid-To site that paid me for offers, surveys and more. After a long time down for maintenance, its website works again, but in October 2026 I could not log in and found no way to contact support. Below is what I found, and which sites I would pick instead.

The short answer

I cannot recommend Earnut right now. It was down for maintenance for many months. In October 2026, its website works again, but when I try to log in, I only get an error, and there is no way to contact support.

When I tested it, it was legit and paid me. It paid via PayPal from $1, in crypto, or in game currency, and it worked worldwide. But it had fewer ways to earn than many similar sites, and some payout options had a high threshold.

What I like
  • Convenient payout methods, PayPal from $1
  • User-friendly, also on a phone
  • Available worldwide
  • Processed payments fast when I tested it
What I don’t like
  • I cannot log in (October 2026), I only get an error
  • No way to contact support
  • Was down for maintenance for many months
  • Some payout options had a high threshold
  • Not as many ways to earn as many similar sites

My experience with Earnut

I tested Earnut myself: I joined, went through the offers, surveys and bonus rewards, and was paid. In October 2026, I checked it again after it came back online. This is what I did myself.

Is Earnut legit and safe?

Earnut paid me when I tested it, so it was legit. But right now I cannot log in and cannot reach support, so I cannot recommend it. These are the catches.

  • I cannot log in, and there is no support

Earnut was down for maintenance for many months. In October 2026, the website works again, but when I try to log in, I only get an error. I found no way to contact support, so I cannot reach my account or the earnings I still had there.

  • One reader’s payout was stuck at the ID check

One reader reports that their first PayPal payout was rejected, and that Earnut never completed their ID check (KYC) after they sent their documents three times. I never had problems with Earnut myself.

  • High thresholds for some payouts

PayPal started at $1, but some crypto needed a lot more, like $23.04 for Bitcoin. PayPal withdrawals usually had a service fee.

  • Fewer ways to earn than many similar sites

There were a good number of offers and a decent number of surveys, but not as many as on the top GPT sites. Most opportunities were in the US, UK, Canada and other major English-speaking countries.

My takeI cannot recommend Earnut now: I cannot log in and cannot reach support. When I tested it, it was a decent site to earn some extra money from, but you would not get rich from it. See the alternatives below.

How you earned on Earnut

When I tested Earnut, there were 5 ways to earn. Paid offers were the main one. Tap one to read more.

Paid offersSet per offer
Earnut paid offers

You picked an offerwall in the member dashboard and then an offer. Most offers asked you to play a mobile game, sign up for a free trial or solve puzzles.

You had to follow every instruction of the offer. If you missed one step, the offer did not complete and you did not earn the reward. There were a good number of offers, so in my experience they were the main source of earnings.

Paid surveysSet per survey
Earnut paid surveys

Earnut worked with a couple of third-party survey providers. You set up your profile with a provider, picked a survey and answered qualifying questions. If you qualified, you answered the survey and got paid.

There was a decent number of surveys, and some paid more than similar surveys on other sites. They usually did not take too long.

Bonus rewardsSpins, tasks and achievements
Earnut Spin the Wheel game

In the Rewards section, you could play Spin the Wheel. The smallest prize was $0.05 and the biggest $250. Joining with a referral code gave you one spin right away.

You also claimed bonus rewards for daily tasks and achievements, just by being active on the site.

Monthly leaderboard contestCash for the top 3
Earnut monthly leaderboard contest

The top 3 earners of the month won a cash prize. It was not a guaranteed way to earn, but it was a nice goal to aim for.

Referral program5% commission and up
Earnut referral program

Earnut called it Affiliates. You shared your referral link, and you got a 5% commission every time someone you invited earned. The rate went up when your affiliate tier went up.

How much could you make?

It depended on how active you were and where you lived. The US, UK, Canada and other major English-speaking countries had more opportunities than other countries.

Surveys and offers usually paid $0.5 to $1 each, which is a decent rate, and paid offers often paid more. Overall, the earning potential was relatively good, but some offers took time to complete.

How Earnut paid

Earnut offered several ways to cash out, and it processed payments fast.

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$1Usually with a service fee
Crypto: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and moreDepends on the coin: $23.04 for Bitcoin, $3.57 for LitecoinYou needed your own crypto wallet
Game currency: Steam, PlayStation Network, Counter-Strike 2, RustFrom $0.80 in my testThe options depended on your country

Right now I cannot log in to Earnut, so I cannot check whether withdrawals work. For sites that pay out from a low amount, see the top GPT sites.

Who could join, and on which devices?

Earnut said you could earn anywhere, so it was available more or less worldwide. You signed up with the registration form, or with your Google, Facebook or Steam account.

There was no app, but the site was optimized for phones, which mattered because most offers asked you to install mobile apps. There were no annoying pop-up ads, so the overall experience was quite good.

When I tested it, there was a How it Works page, and the contact link at the bottom of the site opened the FAQ and a way to contact support. In October 2026, I found no way to contact support.

What readers told me

This review has 8 comments since May 2024: 4 from one reader and 4 replies from me. This is what the reader told me.

Rejected payout and ID check4 comments

One reader reports that their first PayPal payout was rejected, and that Earnut did not complete their ID check (KYC) after they sent their documents three times. Support kept saying it would update the details soon.

“My first payout request has been rejected. When I ask about it they said “we paid but PayPal rejected it.” … Once I created a new one, they ask me to complete KYC (Photo verification & ID proof document upload).”

Reader, May 2024
Mikael: I have never had problems with it. But like any other site, they have strict security and if you fail KYC it might be because you have used VPN, used fake ID, or done some kind of other thing they see as fraud.

“They have received my KYC documents three times, but they haven’t completed the verification process.”

Reader, May 2024
Mikael: I cannot say what is going on in your case, but it definitely sounds frustrating. I have never had problems with them but hope you will get it solved soon.

  1. No, Mike. I’m not using any VPN or proxy. I’m honest with every earning platform I use and I provide original details on all platforms. I’ve never faced such issues in my 5 years of online earning journey. If they think I’m using a VPN or doing something suspicious, they have the option to block me. Why are they giving me the chance to provide KYC documents three times? I’m not going to use this platform even if I get paid from them.

  2. Mike,
They are never going to pay me. They have received my KYC documents three times, but they haven’t completed the verification process. Whenever I contact their live support, they keep saying, “We will update the details soon,” but there has been no progress. I’ve also seen on social media that some people are reporting the same issue.

  3. Mike, I am not using any VPN or fake details. I got a reply from customer support. Uploaded photo clarity is not good. They ask me to update my KYC again. I update details once I get paid

  4. Mike, now it turns out to be a scam. My first payout request has been rejected. When I ask about it they said “we paid but PayPal rejected it.” They sate that you can create a new request. Once I created a new one, they ask me to complete KYC (Photo verification & ID proof document upload). Once done they change my profile status as KYC verification failed. When I contact their support no response. Don’t promote this website anymore.

    • I have never had problems with it. But like any other site, they have strict security and if you fail KYC it might be because you have used VPN, used fake ID, or done some kind of other thing they see as fraud. Something like that will get you banned from any site. I cannot say exactly what has happened in your case but just saying how it works in general and then you can use that to look into what might cause the problem in your case so you can avoid it on other sites.
