Cash Alarm App Review – Yay or Nay? (All Details + Rating)

Cash Alarm Rating

Cash Alarm is really not a great way to earn, in my opinion. It will take a long time for you to earn and the games it offers aren’t very interesting (unless you like gambling games).

I tested the Cash Alarm app and got paid through PayPal. It is legit, but it pays very little per minute of play, and readers report rewards they did not get. Below is my payment proof, what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Personally Tested Payout Verified Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit, but it pays too little to be worth your time

Coins per minute you play its featured games, mostly gambling games. PayPal from $1, Android only.

Good for you ifYou already play mobile games on Android every day and only want a few cents on the side.
Skip it ifYou want rewards worth your time, an iPhone app, or support that replies.

The short answer

Cash Alarm is legit. It paid me through PayPal, and I show the payment proof in my video. You earn coins for every minute you play its featured mobile games, and you can cash out from $1.

But the earning potential is really quite low. You earn fewer coins the longer you play a game, so it can take several days to earn $1. Most games are gambling games, and readers report coins and gift cards they did not get, with no reply from support. I do not recommend it.

What I like
  • Pays through PayPal
  • Low payout threshold: PayPal from $1
  • Available globally
  • User-friendly app without pop-up ads
  • Decent sign-up bonus
What I don’t like
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Low rewards that drop the longer you play
  • Only available for Android devices
  • Most games are gambling games
  • Readers report missing coins and gift cards, and no reply from support

My experience with Cash Alarm

I installed Cash Alarm, played its featured games and cashed out to PayPal. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Payment proof

Cash Alarm has paid me through PayPal. In the video below, I show you exactly how to use the app, what its earning potential is, and my payment proof.

Screenshots from my test

Cash Alarm paid me, but it pays very little for your time. These apps and sites in your country pay more.

Is Cash Alarm legit and safe?

Yes, Cash Alarm is legit. It has paid me. But that does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Rewards drop the longer you play

Cash Alarm pays by the minute, but you earn fewer coins per minute the longer you play the same game. The app does not tell you this. It can take several days just to earn $1.

  • Readers report rewards they did not get

In 2022 and 2023, readers told me about coins they were owed, Walmart gift cards they could not redeem, and a voucher that had not arrived after 7 days, with only automated replies or no reply from support. Other readers were paid to PayPal.

  • Most games are gambling games

Games without gambling are not that common. You must be 18 to use the app.

  • Open games from “My Apps”

Cash Alarm can only track your playtime when you open the game from the “My Apps” section. It can take some time for the coins to be credited.

My takeOverall, if you are looking to earn extra cash, Cash Alarm is really not a good app to use, in my opinion. It will take a long time for you to earn a decent amount. The games they offer also aren’t very interesting (unless you like gambling games). So, there’s really no incentive to use this app.

How you earn on Cash Alarm

There are 2 ways to earn. Playing games is where most of the coins come from. Tap one to read more.

Playing featured gamesPer minute, drops over time
Featured games on Cash Alarm

Press “Play and Collect” below a game to go to its Google Play page and install it. The game then shows up in the “My Apps” section of Cash Alarm. Always open the game from there, so Cash Alarm can track how long you play.

Each game shows the coins you earn per minute. The longer you play the same game, the fewer coins you earn per minute, so you are pushed to try new games. There are a good number of games, but most are gambling games.

Referral program25% of their earnings
Cash Alarm referral program

Share your invite link or QR code. You earn 25% of what your referral earns, and your referral gets 25% of what you earn. You seldom find a referral program where both sides get the same reward.

How much can you make?

The earning potential of this app is really quite low. In most cases, a game pays very little per minute, and the rewards drop the longer you play. It will likely take several days just to earn $1, which makes the low threshold less useful.

It also depends on your country. Some countries, like the US, UK and Canada, get more featured games than others.

Payout methods and minimum

MethodMinimum
PayPalDepends on your country. $1 when I tested it.
Gift cards: Amazon, Google Play and more (some countries)Depends on your country

The coins you earn go to your wallet. The rewards and the coins you need depend on your country, so there is no universal threshold. PayPal is the only cash option. If you want more platforms with a low threshold, see the fastest paying sites.

  2. I been using it for 4 days now and have already made over 10 dollars yes your not gone to get rich but kills time and a little money. Now on my wifes account she has way more games to choose from and she gets points by each level. I got the minute deal sometimes it seems like it takes forever to get points. So i found a way to cheat i choose the game start it up do a couple of things then leave it run all night while i sleep wake up and earn points all night.

    • Glad to hear you like my videos.

I cannot say exactly what is going on with your account as I do not know the exact situation. You need to contact PayPal about this if they are the ones sending the email about it being pending. But sometimes pending just means you have to log in to your PayPal account and accept the payment so try that first.
