Atlas Earth App Review – Should You Join? (What to Expect)

Atlas Earth Rating

Atlas Earth is not a bad game to earn extra cash. However, you must set your expectations accordingly. It’s not something you will get rich from.

Atlas Earth lets you own virtual land that earns rent. I tested the app to see what you can expect. It is legit and a fun idea, but the rent grows very slowly, and I do not recommend spending real money on it. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

A fun idea, but a very slow way to earn

Virtual land earns rent per second. PayPal from $5. Only in 10 countries, with a lot of video ads.

Good for you ifYou live in one of the supported countries, like a game with a real-world map, and are patient enough to play for free.
Skip it ifYou want to earn a decent amount quickly, you do not like video ads, or you are tempted to buy Atlas Bucks with real money.

The short answer

Atlas Earth is legit, because you can really earn from it. It is a mobile game where you own parcels of virtual land that earn rent, and you cash out that rent to PayPal from $5.

But the earning potential is low: it takes quite some time before you earn a decent amount. You can buy Atlas Bucks with real money to speed things up, but I do not recommend it, because it takes a long time to recoup your capital. It is not something you will get rich from.

What I like
  • A fun and interesting way to earn
  • Rent from your virtual land comes in passively
  • Works on Android, iOS and a web version
  • PayPal cashout from $5
  • You can progress as a free-to-play player
What I don’t like
  • Low earning potential
  • Only available in certain countries
  • A lot of pop-up video ads
  • Support only through Discord
  • Spending real money takes a long time to recoup

My experience with Atlas Earth

I installed the app, got my free parcel of land, and went through the boosts, badges, offers, games and the cashout rules. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Atlas Earth legit and safe?

Yes, Atlas Earth is legit, because you can really earn from it. But that does not automatically make it a great app to earn extra cash. Here is what you should know.

  • Real money takes a long time to recoup

You can buy Atlas Bucks with real money to buy land faster. I do not recommend it: it takes a lot of time to get your capital back. You can progress as a free-to-play player.

  • The rent grows slowly

Only the rent from your land is real money. To raise it, you need a lot of Atlas Bucks for boosts, badges and more land, and that takes a good amount of time.

  • A lot of video ads

You have to watch a lot of pop-up video ads while playing. That is how the app earns money and pays its users, but it hurts the experience.

  • Only in certain countries

Atlas Earth is only available in the US and US territories, Canada, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and Germany.

  • Support only through Discord

The website has a Support section, but no contact information. To talk to a representative, you have to join the Discord server.

My takeAtlas Earth is not a bad game for earning extra cash. However, you must set your expectations accordingly. It’s not something you will get rich from. In fact, if you don’t plan to spend money on it, it will take quite some time before you can earn a decent amount from it. So, it is best to stick with the free method, in my opinion.

How you earn on Atlas Earth

There are 3 ways to earn. Only virtual rent pays real money; the other two give Atlas Bucks to raise your rent. Tap one to read more.

Renting out virtual landReal money
Atlas Earth virtual land earning passive rent

When you start, you get one common parcel of land for free, based on your current location. It earns rent per second, which you see when you log in.

Plots have rarities: common, rare, epic and legendary. Rarer land earns a higher rent, and costs more to buy.

You raise your rent with boosts, which you get by watching video ads and which usually last an hour, and with badges, which you unlock when you travel in real life and buy with Atlas Bucks. A badge raises your rent permanently. You can also buy more parcels with Atlas Bucks, where you live or in any city you visit.

Offers and surveysAtlas Bucks

The offerwalls in the app ask you to download and play mobile games, sign up for apps and websites, and answer surveys. Follow every step of an offer, or you will not get the reward.

For a survey, you first go through the qualifying process. From what I observed, surveys are the fastest way to earn Atlas Bucks, so prioritize them.

Playing gamesAtlas Bucks

The featured games come from Playtime. Most are easy and quite fun. But the longer you play one game, the smaller the reward, so move on to the next game when the rewards drop.

How much can you make?

It depends on how active you are. You raise your virtual rent with Atlas Bucks, by enabling boosts, unlocking badges and buying more land.

You can convert virtual rent into Atlas Bucks, at $1 of rent for $25 worth of Atlas Bucks. I strongly advise against it, because rent is way harder to build up than Atlas Bucks, which you get from offers, games and other in-game ways.

Overall, the earning potential is relatively low, even if you spend real money. You need a lot of time to raise your rent significantly. That is why I do not recommend spending real money: you can progress for free if you are patient.

Payout method and minimum

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$5 of virtual rentYou need a verified PayPal account

Only the rent from your virtual land can be cashed out. Atlas Bucks are for use inside the game.

The payout system is relatively straightforward. For more sites and apps with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Who can join, and which devices

Atlas Earth is only available in the United States, US territories, Canada, Australia, the UK, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa and Germany.

Install the app and sign up with your Apple, Google or Facebook account when you open it for the first time. You need to do this even if you want to use the web version.

The app works on Android and iOS and is relatively user-friendly. There is also a web version for your desktop or laptop, but to get the most out of it, use the app.
