Warning: AppCoiner charges a fee to join
AppCoiner charges $27 to join, and you only see the price after you have given your email. You should know that before you pay. It also works very differently from what the sales page promises.
AppCoiner claims you can make money by testing apps and writing short reviews. I put in my email to see what you really get. It costs money to join, and it works very differently from what the sales page says. Below is what I found, and which free sites I would pick first.
Not recommended: you pay to join, and you are not paid to test apps
You pay $27 to write reviews for a website. You only earn if that website gets visitors who click its ads.

The short answer
AppCoiner costs $27 to join, and you only see the price after you give your email. The sales page makes it look like you get paid to test apps and write reviews.
But you are not paid for each review. Your reviews are posted on a standardized website, and you only earn if people visit it and click the ads. Getting that traffic takes a lot of time or money. I would not call it a scam as such, but it is not a site I recommend.
- You can, in theory, make money this way
- Has a money-back guarantee
- Costs money to join
- You are not told how it works
- You have to give your email before you are told the price
- Misleading sales page
- The reviews you write are owned by somebody else
My experience with AppCoiner
I put my email into AppCoiner’s sign-up box to see what you get. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is AppCoiner legit and safe?
In theory, AppCoiner is a way to make money online. But there are several red flags you should know before you pay.
- You only see the price after your email
The box on the sales page looks like you are joining. It is not. It only collects your email, and after that you get a big sales pitch and see that it costs $27.
- You are not told what you will be doing
There are sites that pay you to download and test apps, but AppCoiner is not one of them. You write a review that is posted on a standardized website, and you only earn if people come to that site and click the ads. You need a lot of traffic to make any real money, and you are told nothing about this before you join.
- A misleading earnings calculator
When I first tested it, the sales page had a calculator that made it look easy and fast to make money. The small print said: “This calculator is only to be used as an example of figures that can be potentially earned. The results from this calculator are not typical or guaranteed.” It has since been removed.
- A risky business model
Paying for app reviews is risky for app developers, and review sites do what they can to stop fake reviews. A man in Italy was sentenced to jail for selling fake reviews. So the idea itself is not sustainable.
- Be careful with positive reviews
AppCoiner pays commissions to people who promote it. Some positive reviews online just repeat the sales page without the full picture. Not all of them are fake, but look closely before you believe them.
My takeI am honestly not impressed with AppCoiner after looking into what it offers. I do not know if I would call it a scam, as it is in theory a way to make money online. But it is very unclear what you get, and the sales tricks give you the wrong impression. It is definitely not a site I recommend.
Can you make money with AppCoiner?
In theory, yes. You can earn money with a website full of reviews through affiliate marketing and ads. That is a real and legit way to make money. But it is not as easy as AppCoiner claims, and I highly doubt its approach will help you earn much.
Even if it did, the reviews you write are owned by somebody else, and they could close or take down your reviews at any time. That makes it a risky approach.

Cool article, I used to have this app but as a full time student I have to say I dont really have much time to take surveys 🙂 but thats why i use Honeygain!T Yea, it wont make you fortune but it can make around $30 per month just by leaving this app running on your phones (or pcs) background‚ So basically this is an app that lets you sell your unused internet traffic via it. Plus, you can always use extra $5 coupon secret5 to reach their $20 minimum payment faster
Thanks for sharing your experiences about this.
I agree that Honeygain is a good option for a bit of passive earnings. I also have a Honeygain review with a bonus code and it is also a platform I use myself.
