20/20 Panel rewards you for surveys and paid studies, if you live in the US or Canada. I tested it to see if it is worth your time. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.
Legit, but hard to rely on
A low payment threshold and paid studies that can pay well. Only for the US and Canada, with unclear information and few ways to reach support.

The short answer
20/20 Panel is legit. It rewards you for the surveys and studies you complete, and it has been around for more than 30 years.
But its earning potential pales next to other survey sites. You should not expect as many surveys, only US and Canadian residents can join, and the website leaves out important information, like who can join.
- A low payment threshold
- Paid studies let you earn a significant amount
- Studies pay you right after you complete them
- Only for US and Canadian residents
- Few ways to contact the support team
- Important information is not easy to find on the website
- Points expire after 18 months
- No estimated time for surveys in the dashboard
My experience with 20/20 Panel

Is 20/20 Panel legit and safe?
Yes, 20/20 Panel is legit: it rewards you for the surveys and studies you complete. Legitimacy is not the biggest question, though. These are the catches.
- Few surveys, and a slow route to them
There is no guarantee you get many surveys. When you qualify for one, you wait for a recruiter to call you, confirm your information and give you a time to take it.
- Important information is missing
The website does not say up front who can join. You only find out during sign-up that it is for the US and Canada. The minimum age is not stated either.
- Points expire
Your points are only valid for 18 months. After that, they are worth nothing, so redeem them in time.
- Limited support
The contact form is the only real way to reach the team. There is a Facebook page you can message, but I am not sure they reply in an acceptable time, as their site had not been active for several months when I wrote this review.
My take20/20 Panel can be a decent secondary site, especially if you live near one of its in-person study locations. For regular surveys from anywhere, the best survey sites in your country are a better choice.
How you earn on 20/20 Panel
There are two ways to earn on 20/20 Panel. Tap each one to read more.
Paid surveysPoints per survey
Most of what you earn comes from paid surveys. In the member dashboard, you see the reward and the expiration date of each survey, but not the estimated time to complete it.
You first answer a pre-qualifying survey. If you do not qualify, you are told right away. If you do, one of their recruiters calls you to confirm your information, and you get a time to take the survey. After you complete it, the points show in your account balance.
Paid studiesMore than surveys
If you qualify for a study, you get an invite by email. You answer pre-qualifying questions, and a recruiter calls you with a time for the study. Studies can be an online chat, a discussion or in person.
In-person studies are only for residents of Charlotte, Nashville and Miami, where 20/20 Panel has facilities. Studies pay more than surveys because they take more time, but you will not get access to them very often.

How much can you make?
100 points are worth $1: a $10 PayPal gift card costs 1,000 points. What you earn depends mostly on how many survey invites you get, and a complete, updated profile improves your chances.
Feedback from members about the number of invites varies, and my own test was not enough for a clear conclusion. In general, do not expect as many surveys from 20/20 Panel as from many other survey sites.
How 20/20 Panel pays
Surveys pay in points, which you redeem from 500 points. Studies pay you right after you complete them.
| Reward | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Tango gift card | 500 points | Use it with retailers that accept it |
| PayPal gift card | More points | A $10 PayPal gift card costs 1,000 points |
| Virtual or physical Visa card | Per online study | Sent by email, or by mail to your home address |
| Prepaid MasterCard gift card | Per in-person study | Paid after you complete the study |
Points are only valid for 18 months. For sites with better PayPal options, see the best survey panels that pay through PayPal.
