Is Viewfruit Legit or a Scam? (In-Depth 2026 Review)

Viewfruit Rating

Viewfruit is easy to use and offers a good amount of paid surveys. But now, it has issues with its support, as well as its payout system, and I have recently not been able to get paid. You should check out the link below instead for better alternatives.

Warning: Viewfruit has not paid me for months

Viewfruit paid me many times in the past. Now it has not paid me what it owes me for months. I have contacted them several times, and after more than three months I still have not heard back. Readers also report cashouts that were rejected again and again. I do not recommend you join, because there is a risk that you will also not get paid. The sites I recommend instead are at the end of this review.

I tested Viewfruit over several years and was paid by it many times. Then it stopped paying me what it owes me, and support stopped replying. Below is what happened, how Viewfruit works, and which survey sites I recommend instead.

The short answer

Viewfruit is a real survey site owned by Paneland, and I was paid by it many times when I first tested it. It has a decent number of surveys, a $5 PayPal cashout and a lucky draw that rewards you even when you do not qualify.

But now Viewfruit has not paid me what it owes me for months, and support has not replied in more than three months. That is a huge red flag. I do not recommend you join, because there is a risk that you will also not get paid.

What I like
  • Free to join
  • Decent number of surveys
  • Offers PayPal payments, from $5
  • Lucky draw entries even when you do not qualify
  • App for Android and iOS
What I don’t like
  • I have recently not been able to get paid
  • Support does not respond to my emails anymore
  • Readers report rejected cashouts
  • Not available in all countries
  • Social features can be distracting

My experience with Viewfruit

I tested Viewfruit thoroughly over several years and was paid many times. Then it stopped paying me. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is Viewfruit legit and safe?

Viewfruit is a real company, and it paid me many times when I first tested it. But it now has serious payout problems. Here is what you should know.

  • It has not paid me for months

I was paid by Viewfruit before, but now its payout system does not seem to work. At least, it has not paid me what it owes me for months. As of updating this review, I still have not been paid.

  • Support stopped replying

I messaged Viewfruit about my withdrawal several times. It has been more than three months, and I still have not heard back. It used to be quick to respond.

  • Readers report rejected cashouts

In March 2025, a member since before the pandemic wrote that Viewfruit rejects her cashout requests again and again, and that support does not respond. In 2023, a reader waited 10 to 15 days for each payment.

  • Points can expire

A reader points out that points expire after a certain amount of time. If a cashout is rejected, your effort can be wasted.

  • Never use false information

Viewfruit can detect inconsistent answers, and you risk being banned from the platform. Some readers are also screened out as duplicates when they share a network.

My takeViewfruit is easy to use and used to be a decent survey site. I was paid by it many times. But now there are issues with its payout system: I have not been paid for my latest earnings, and support does not reply. That is a huge red flag, so I no longer use it, and I do not recommend you join it. If you still decide to, do not let a large balance build up before you cash out.

How you earn on Viewfruit

Surveys are the main way to earn. The lucky draw and the referral program add a little extra. Tap one to read more.

Viewfruit surveys (V-Surveys)Points shown up front
Overview of available surveys on Viewfruit

You usually get an email invite when a new survey is available, but not always, so it is a good idea to check the platform regularly. Check your junk folder for invites too.

Each survey shows the points you earn and whether you can take it on a PC, a phone or both. Fill out your profile after you join to get more relevant surveys. You will not qualify for every survey, but you get a lucky draw entry when you do not.

Lucky drawLuck only
The Viewfruit lucky draw

You get 3 entries for every survey you complete, and 1 entry if you do not qualify or the survey is full. Prizes change from time to time and depend on your country, for example an iPhone, a Kindle or extra cash. Do not count on this.

Referral program10% extra

When someone you invited completes a survey, you get 10% extra paid into your account. Viewfruit pays this, not your referral. You also get one lucky draw entry when someone you invite confirms their account.

PK/Vote polls and messagesNot paid
Poll results on Viewfruit

You can answer and create short polls from other members, and send messages to friends in the message center. These are social features. You do not earn from them.

How much can you make?

When I first tested it, Viewfruit had decent opportunities to earn by taking surveys, and the surveys paid decently for the time spent compared to other sites. As on any survey site, it was a way to earn a bit of extra cash, not to get rich.

But what you earn only matters if you get paid. Viewfruit has not paid my latest earnings, so for me it is no longer a site I use.

How Viewfruit pays

MethodMinimumSpeed
PayPal2,500 points ($5)Processed every Monday, then 1 to 5 business days, according to Viewfruit

That is what the rules say. In practice, Viewfruit has not paid me what it owes me for months, and a reader in 2025 reports cashouts that were rejected again and again.

Viewfruit can ask for an ID number in your profile, and your PayPal account must be in your own name. For sites that pay through PayPal, see the top survey panels that pay through PayPal.

  1. Hello, I’ve been using Viewfruit since before the pandemic, but I notice that they changed now. Back then I have no difficulty when cashing out, but now they reject my request repeatedly with a reason that doesn’t make sense at all to me. Last time I made it to cashout was last year after several attempt to cashout my $5. It’s more annoying because the points will expired after a certain amount of time, so I become worried my whole effort would be ended up wasted. I try to contact their support but there’s no response so far.
Personally, I don’t recommend them now. But maybe you have any tips to overcome this repeated rejected cashout? I’ll appreciate your help.

  3. Kudos to you, Mikael for your diligence and most importantly, your patience in responding to dumb and repeated questions of lazy people who do not read your post.

My feedback on Viewfruit? Yes it is LEGIT but it’s a waste of time. Since 2010 I’ve been joining every survey site there is. I have given up in 2015 because all these survey sites have the same old sh**ty decorum of screening out everybody who don’t meet their target market — people who have the financial capacity to buy commodities and travel on a regular, monthly (even daily) basis.

Of course, why would they get the opinions of people who cannot buy products? No money there!

There is one very survey site I am tempted to mention (but would be unethical to do so). I remember that site because it was the ONLY site I have earned real money from. Twice. $250 paid in cheque. $250 in one year. LOL. I left that site because I went back to my ‘fallback’ job offline.

Survey sites rip people off by paying them in pathetic micro-cents (or worse, lucky points) per survey, while pocketing thousands of dollars saved in feasibility studies. Their slogans will stay slogans, never the reality for members. Survey sites will (and I mean to generalize) forever stay the same until the people of the world begin to learn their lesson.

    • Thanks for sharing your opinion.

Whether survey sites are worth it or not entirely depends on the expectations you do it with. It is not meant to be a way to make a living or a part time income. It is meant as a way to earn a bit extra and have your opinion heard at the same time. And if that is the goal, then the taking surveys in the absolute fastest way to start making some extra money online as you can start earning right away and get paid fast. Of course, how many surveys there are available depends on the country you live in and your profile.

But if your goal is to make a living online, then you need to start an online business instead. The earning potential of that is huge but it will take a lot of time, investment, and effort before you get to that level. So it all depends on the goals and expectations what the best option is and what is worth it.

  4. Thanks, I guess I just have to wait. I’ve withdrawn my points once earlier, but it took only 2 days for the money to arrive after approval. That’s why I was surprised this time.

  5. I tried withdrawing my points at the end of April, which was approved by the Viewfruit team last week. However, I haven’t received my payment yet. The status shows the points as “Application in processing” and the request as “Approved: paying”. I have tried contacting their support team multiple times, but have not received any response. I don’t know what to do.

    • 1) This depends on your country. You need to ask their support about this.

  9. Hi, these tips are great. I want to know that is it ok if you manage to complete a survey successfully with a few false information – e.g. If you mention a different location or age, but you have successfully completed the survey and have been awarded points for it. Would there be a problem? I’ve read that points are deducted, but you generally can never qualify for a survey because there are only few available.

    Reply
    • It is NOT ok to lie in surveys. Companies pay for this because they need honest feedback and if you lie, the info is useless for them. That is why they have systems in place to detect lies and you risk getting banned completely from the platform if you do this.

      Reply
      • Thanks for replying. Most of the time, if you put in false information while filling a survey, it’ll automatically detect your answers to be different than expected and will mention that “You’re not qualified for the survey as you do not meet our criteria”. Sometimes though, people manage to complete a survey with some false info, & are awarded points. In this case, doesn’t the system detect that the answers were different than expected?

Can I know how much point I will get from each survey? At least according to your experience, the minimum and the maximum points will do.

    Reply
    • You need to contact their support about the link issue.

As for your bonus, you will earn whenever the person you invited earns so if he has not been able to join and has not completed any surveys, you will not earn. That is how referral programs work.

    1. You have participated in the survey using the same device.
    2. Network IP you are using has been involved in the survey.
    3. You may have participated in the survey in other websites.
We will invite you to participate in more investigations suitable for you, and look forward to more of your comments. Apart from participating in surveys, you can also get points by referring friends. Your referrals will automatically become your task team. You will get 10% additional points if your task team finish the offer successfully.”

What does that even mean? I didn’t understand.

  17. Hi Mike… Your explanation first gave me confidence to try viewfruit myself, but when i checked the android app on playstore i found the rating scored quite poor. I’m Indonesian and that was my local viewfruit app. Most of the reviews were one star. Some comments said they’ve completed a quite long survey, but at the end was rejected saying that they were not among the criteria or that the quota were already full. Some also said they received only small points not like what was initially stated, some even said this is a straight scam app. This make me hesitated to start using it. Maybe your experience can give explanation on this. Thanks Mike.

    Reply
    • It is definitely not a scam. I have been paid by it many times myself.

Also, I know it can be frustrating to end up qualifying for a survey but it is a part of taking surveys so not really a valid reason to complain, in my opinion. And there are things you can do to qualify for more surveys so it becomes less frustrating. Plus when not qualifying for a survey on Viewfruit at least you get the chance to win a prize which is more than most other sites offer when you do not qualify.

But if you find out it is not for you, then you can check out this list of the best sites in Indonesia as there are plenty of other great options.

      • Thanks for your explanation Mike. I finally started using it, and i think i got your point. Patience and diligence are the key.

Just out of curiosity, if i may ask you, and i realize that this might be very different in other country, how much was your biggest cash-out points for this site? And for how long until you reach that biggest points?

        Reply
        • I do not remember my biggest cashout. But on most survey sites I, in general, usually withdraw more or less as soon as I reach the payout threshold.

How long it will take for you to reach the threshold is impossible to say as it depends a lot on your profile, the time of the year, etc. But I would, in general, suggest you join several different sites to get more earning opportunities.

  18. I have been on View Fruit since Jan 2020 and have not seen much activity on this sight. There have been no surveys. Since I created a V-Vote\poll in January there have only been 3 other new V-Votes. This does not a appear to because I am in South Africa, since the people that created the Votes are from other countries.

    • I know there are quite a lot of paid surveys in some countries. So the lack of general surveys is probably because of your location. Also, I have been told by Viewfruit themselves that the countries they have the most opportunities in are the ones you can see through the joining link here in this review – and South Africa is not among those. So it seems to not be one of the best options for ZA but it does have good options in some other countries.

  23. Thanks, Mikael for sharing this review and make us aware that there are legitimate survey sites.

I have tried my luck with those sites and have started answering surveys when I get the notification that it is not for me because I live in a different country.

So, I definitely do not recommend anyone trying to make money with paid surveys if not living in a country where there are good offers.

I am happy though that Viewfruit is legitimate and that you can earn some extra cash if living in the “correct” country.

I also like the fact that it has prices which you can claim, which is a good opportunity.
