Surveyfile Review – Worth It or Not? (What to Expect)

Surveyfile Rating

I don’t recommend you sign up as a member of Surveyfile. It doesn’t have anything to offer. You will only be wasting your time because you won’t earn anything from it.

Warning: nothing was added to my balance, and I do not expect Surveyfile to pay you

When I tested Surveyfile, its so-called surveys only took me to ads or to webpages that did not always load, and nothing was added to my balance. Other people I asked to test it in other parts of the world saw the same. The payout threshold is $399. In my opinion, Surveyfile never intends to pay you, so I do not recommend you sign up.

Surveyfile says you can answer surveys and get paid. I signed up and tested it myself. Below is what really happens when you click a survey, the red flags I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

The short answer

I do not recommend Surveyfile. It presents itself as a survey site, but when I clicked its surveys, I was taken to an ad or a webpage, and nothing was added to my balance. You cannot take any actual surveys.

On top of that, you need $399 before you can withdraw, and the homepage claims you earn $4 per answer, while the surveys I saw claimed to pay $0.50. You will only be wasting your time.

What I like
  • None
What I don’t like
  • Doesn’t offer any earning opportunities
  • Ridiculously high payout threshold: $399
  • Not transparent with its real earning potential
  • Asks you to go through a KYC process
  • The site uses awful grammar

My experience with Surveyfile

I signed up for Surveyfile, clicked its surveys, and looked at the referral program and the wallet. I tested it again months after my first test. This is what I did, and what I did not do.

Red flags you need to be aware of

No, I do not recommend Surveyfile. While testing it, I noticed several red flags. Learn to spot them, so you recognize them on other websites too.

  • You cannot earn anything

When you click a survey, you are usually taken to a webpage that does not always load. Sometimes it even triggered my anti-virus software. Nothing is added to your balance, so you will never get close to the threshold, no matter how much time you spend.

  • A ridiculously high payout threshold

The threshold is $399. In all my years of testing survey sites, no legit one has had a threshold this high. Legit survey sites usually have a manageable threshold of $5 to $20, so members can easily withdraw.

  • Misleading earning potential

The homepage claims to pay you $4 per answer. The surveys I saw only claimed to pay $0.50, and even that is not true. The referral page also shows commission figures in the thousands, which you will never earn.

  • A KYC process and your email address

The wallet asks you to go through a KYC process, which I highly recommend you avoid. You also give your email address when you sign up, which they can sell to interested parties. Do not be surprised if you get promotional emails.

  • Bad grammar

I spotted countless grammatical errors just on the homepage. This does not prove a site is a scam, but it shows the site does not care if you understand its message.

My takeSurveyfile doesn’t have anything to offer. You will only be wasting your time, because you won’t earn anything from it, since the website doesn’t intend to pay you, in my opinion. Promoting it to your friends through the referral program is something I would never do. If you want to earn extra cash, pick a site that is transparent with what it has to offer.

How you supposedly earn on Surveyfile

Surveyfile shows 2 ways to earn. Neither of them added anything to my balance. Tap one to read more.

Paid surveysNothing added
Surveys in the Surveyfile dashboard

The dashboard shows a list of surveys. When I first tested it, clicking a survey opened a new browser tab with some kind of ad, and you had to follow instructions to claim the reward.

Months later, clicking a survey usually just takes you to a webpage, which does not always load. The reward is not added to your balance. It has nothing to do with surveys.

Referral programNothing added
Surveyfile referral program

The referral page shows commission figures in the thousands. But the site practically does not offer any way to earn, so you will not receive any commission. And it means promoting Surveyfile to other people, which I would never do to my friends.

    • I always appreciate feedback from owners and will be happy to change my opinion and reviews if I realize I have made a mistake – but please keep it constructive and in a proper tone.

When it comes to Surveyfile – What exactly is not true in what I write? When you click the so-called survey links, you are just taking to an ad, and nothing is added to your balance. You are not able to take any actual surveys.
That is how it works for me and how it works for others I have asked to test this for me in other places of the world also.

In addition to that, what I say about the payout threshold is also true. I have never experienced a real survey site having such a high payout threshold.
Also, all other reviews online are saying the same thing as what I have experienced. It is not possible to actually earn and get paid. So what exactly is not true in my review?

If you are planning to make some changes and I can see the site will start adding to your balance when you click and if it will get a fair payout threshold and people are able to actually get paid, I will be more than happy to take a look again and update my review, as I want to make sure always to have updated and fair reviews.

So feel free to let me know more details about this – but please keep it in a proper tone.
