I signed up for the QRS Research Panel to see if its paid research projects are worth your time. It is legit and pays per project, but it is for UK business professionals only, and you are usually invited only three to four times a year. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend next to it.
Legit, but you are invited only a few times a year
A UK research panel for business professionals. You are paid after each project, but expect only three to four invites a year.

The short answer
The QRS Research Panel is legit. You can really earn from its research projects, and you are paid every time you complete one, with no threshold to reach.
But you will usually be invited only three to four times a year, it looks like it is only available in the UK, and you must be a business professional to join. Cash is not guaranteed: some projects pay in high street vouchers or a charity donation. It can only serve as an additional site, not as a regular source of extra cash.
- Decent pay per project
- Interesting, formal research projects for government, universities and businesses
- Paid after every project, with no threshold
- Cash by bank transfer for many projects
- Very limited earning opportunities: usually three to four invites a year
- Doesn’t always offer cash rewards
- Most projects take a bit of time to complete
- Only for business professionals, and it looks like it is UK only
- The member login shows little more than a WordPress backend

Is the QRS Research Panel legit and safe?
Yes, the QRS Research Panel is legit, because you can really earn from the opportunity it offers. But that doesn’t automatically mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know before you join.
- Very few invites
Based on my testing of the site, you will usually be invited to research projects only three to four times a year. I never got invited to one while I was testing it.
- For business professionals only
You must be a business professional to join, and you give information to support that when you sign up.
- UK only, most likely
The website doesn’t say which countries it is available in, but it looks like it is only available in the UK. You might be able to sign up from somewhere else, but you will most likely not get any earning opportunities.
- Cash is not guaranteed
How you are paid depends on the project. Cash rewards come by bank transfer, but some projects pay in high street vouchers or a charity donation. For cash, you share your bank details every time, because QRS does not store them longer than necessary.
- Projects take time
Projects can last up to an hour or so, depending on the type of activity, and some need you to go to a specific location.
My takeIn my opinion, the QRS Research Panel is not a bad site to earn extra cash from. However, it is not something you must expect to be a main source of extra cash because the opportunities to earn are very limited. This is why it can only serve as an additional site to earn from.
The QRS Research Panel invites you only a few times a year. These sites in your country let you earn on a regular basis.

There are 2 ways to earn. Research projects are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Research projectsMain earner
Once you are a member, you are invited to research projects from time to time. The invite usually comes by email, based on what I observed while testing it. For in-person research, a representative sometimes calls you to confirm.
Projects are usually online or telephone surveys, 1-on-1 interviews, and focus groups, both face-to-face and online. Most are for government departments, local authorities, universities, financial organizations and a wide range of public and private businesses. So they are more formal than on other sites like this.
After you complete a project, you receive the compensation stated in your invitation. Projects can last up to an hour or so, depending on the activity.
Referral program£10 per referral
Ask the people you invite to enter your name and email address when they sign up. They then automatically become your referral.
When they complete their first research project, you receive £10. It is simple, but it can take quite a while before you get anything from your referrals.
How much can you make?
It depends on how many projects you take part in, and the site doesn’t expect to invite you more than four times a year. That’s why this is not a great option if you are looking for a regular source of extra cash.
I can’t say the exact amount per project, because I never got invited to one while I was testing it. Based on my experience with sites like this, focus groups and 1-on-1 interviews at a certain location often pay the most. For online projects, don’t expect to earn more than £50, especially if they don’t take a lot of time.
Overall, the earning potential is not good, mainly because there are so few opportunities.
How you get paid
| Reward | How you get it | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Cash | Bank transfer. You share your bank details each time. | None. Paid after each project. |
| High street vouchers | Depends on the project | None. Paid after each project. |
| Charity donation | Depends on the project | None. Paid after each project. |
You get paid every time you complete a research project. You don’t have to build up a balance before you can withdraw, like on most survey and Get-Paid-To sites. The project decides how you are paid.
QRS does not store your bank account information longer than necessary, which is a good thing, in my opinion. If you prefer sites with guaranteed cash rewards, see the top sites that pay via direct bank transfer.
How to join the QRS Research Panel
Only sign up if you live in the UK and you are a business professional. You give information to support that during sign-up.
Fill out the registration form on the website. It takes a couple of minutes, because you set up your profile at the same time. Then click the activation link in the email QRS sends you.
After that, you can log in to the member dashboard. When I logged in, I only saw the backend of a WordPress website and could not do anything else there. You may see your assigned projects there, but I cannot confirm that, because I never got invited to one.
