I joined and tested Opinio Quest to see if it is worth your time. It is legit, but it has few surveys and a confusing reward system. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Legit, but few surveys and a confusing reward system
Decent pay per survey, gift cards only, and very little information on the site.

The short answer
Opinio Quest is not a scam. It is a legit survey site that rewards you for answering its surveys. Most surveys pay 100 points, which is $1, and the site is easy to use on a phone.
But there are not a lot of surveys, you can only redeem gift cards, and the site does not explain how many points a gift card costs or how long a payout takes. You also have to subscribe to the newsletter before you can redeem. There are a lot better options.
- Intuitive user interface
- Mobile-friendly site
- Decent rewards per survey
- 10 points for each profile section you complete
- Limited earning opportunities
- The rewards system is confusing
- The site lacks relevant information
- Limited payment options: gift cards only
- It can take some time to receive your payments
- You must subscribe to the newsletter to redeem rewards

Is Opinio Quest legit and safe?
Yes, Opinio Quest is legit. It rewards you for its surveys. But that does not mean it is worth joining. Here is what you should know.
- Few surveys, depending on your country
There are not always a lot of surveys. You may not find any in-house surveys at all, depending on the country you live in. It is mainly worth it in countries with many surveys, like the US or other English-speaking countries.
- The reward system is unclear
The site does not say how many points a gift card costs, and it does not explain how the referral program works. The only clear rule is that 100 points are $1. I found the $10 payout threshold in older Facebook posts.
- You must join the newsletter to redeem
Opinio Quest only lets you redeem rewards if you subscribe to its newsletter. You can unsubscribe later, but most sites do not force this on you.
- Payouts can take a long time
Opinio Quest does not say how long you wait after you request a payout. On its Facebook page, several people complained that they had to wait a long time.
- Little support and quiet social media
The FAQ page has only a couple of questions. You have to use the contact form or email. At the time of updating this review, Opinio Quest had not posted on its social media for several years.
My takeAs you can see, Opinio Quest has more drawbacks than upsides, in my experience and opinion. It leaves you with more questions than answers. I would not recommend this survey site, since there are simply a lot better options out there.
Opinio Quest has few surveys and gift cards only. The top sites in your country give you more ways to earn.

There are 2 ways to earn, plus a few points for your profile. Surveys are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysMostly 100 points ($1)
There are two types: in-house surveys and partner surveys. You find the in-house surveys under My Surveys in the member dashboard. First you answer a few qualifying questions. If you qualify, you answer the actual survey and get the reward. If you do not, you move on to the next one.
Partner surveys work the same way, but they come from a partner site, so you are taken to a different site. There is an extra step where you give your profile information first.
You will not find a lot of in-house surveys, and depending on your country, you might have a hard time finding any.
Completing your profile10 points per section
Complete your profile so the site can see which surveys you fit. You get 10 points for each section you complete, so it is not wasted time.
Referral programNot explained
The rewards page has a section for referral points, so you get points for people you invite. But there is no information on the site about how many points or under which conditions.
How much can you make?
Most surveys pay 100 points, which is $1. That is not bad, but it is not great either, depending on the length of the survey. You will not always qualify.
There are not always a lot of surveys available, based on what I saw while testing it. So you cannot expect to earn a lot from it.
Overall, Opinio Quest does not have good earning potential, because it does not provide many surveys and the usability is a lot lower than on many other sites.
Payout method and minimum
| Method | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Gift cards (by country) | 1,000 points ($10) | Not stated by Opinio Quest. People on its Facebook page complained about long waits. |
Every survey you complete adds points to your balance. You can only exchange them for gift cards, and which gift cards you can choose depends on the country in your profile. The site does not say how many points each gift card costs.
To start redeeming, you have to subscribe to the newsletter. If you prefer a simpler way to get paid, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Opinio Quest alternatives I have tested
