Is Nicequest Legit or a Scam? (Full Review + Tutorial)

Nicequest Rating

Nicequest is legit invite-only site that rewards you with products or vouchers. It does, however, not reward its members with real money. And it is hard to be able to join.

I checked out Nicequest, an invite-only survey site that rewards you with gifts and vouchers. It is legit, but it is hard to get in, surveys are few, and you never earn real money. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Partially Tested Last tested

Legit, but invite-only, few surveys, and no real money

You earn Korus for gifts, vouchers and prize draws. Usually 1 to 3 surveys a month, and you need an invite to join.

Good for you ifYou already got an invite and like collecting points for gifts or vouchers.
Skip it ifYou want cash or PayPal, or you do not want to wait for an invite.

The short answer

Nicequest is a legit site. It has been around since 2005, and it rewards you with gifts, vouchers, donations and sweepstakes entries for taking surveys.

But it does not reward you with real money, and it is invite-only, so it is hard to become a member. You normally get 1 to 3 surveys a month. In my opinion, it is a waste of time to chase an invite, because many other sites reward better and let you join right away.

What I like
  • Available on desktop and as an app for Android and iOS
  • Rewards are shipped to you free of charge
  • Has an extensive list of rewards
  • Rewards you for surveys you do not qualify for
  • Korus do not expire
  • Has a good support structure
What I don’t like
  • Limited reward opportunities
  • Invite-only site
  • No real money opportunities
  • Little information about how many Korus a survey pays

My experience with Nicequest

I first tested Nicequest when surveys were the only way to earn, and I have kept the review up to date as it added new ways to earn. This is what I looked at, and what I did not test.

Is Nicequest legit and safe?

Yes, Nicequest is legit. But being legit does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Invite-only

You sign up for a waiting list, and Nicequest invites people with the right profile for its projects. There is not much information about how it decides. Sometimes members can win an invite for a friend in Facebook contests.

  • Readers report rewards that got harder to reach

In 2020, two readers wrote that the cheaper Amazon vouchers disappeared and the rest cost more Korus. In 2021, a reader wrote that rewards took 45+ days to arrive. In 2023, a reader found the gift cards she wanted “temporarily unavailable” for a month.

  • No real money

You only get gifts, vouchers, credits, donations and sweepstakes entries. The sweepstakes cost Korus, and the prizes are things like phones, tablets and more Korus.

  • Extra ways to earn track your behavior

Thea tracks how you use the Internet, Orpheus identifies what you listen to, and Atlas shares where you move. Whether you are comfortable with that is up to you.

My takeNicequest is a good way to get products or vouchers as a gift. But it is really hard to become a member, and once you are in, there are few ways to earn Korus. There are plenty of sites that reward better and faster, where you do not have to chase an invite.

Nicequest is invite-only and pays no real money. The top survey sites in your country let you join right away.

How you earn on Nicequest

There are 4 ways to earn. Surveys are the main one, and the other three need an extra invitation. Tap one to read more.

Nicequest surveys1 to 3 a month

You normally get 1 to 3 surveys a month, depending on your profile. That is very few for a site that does not pay real money.

A nice touch: you get Korus for surveys you answered but did not qualify for. Not many survey sites do this. See the best survey sites if you want more surveys.

Browse the Internet (Thea)By invitation

Install Thea on the devices you use, and it shares how you use the Internet. Nicequest uses this for statistics on online behavior. Panels like Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel work the same way.

Share what you listen to (Orpheus)By invitation

Orpheus is an Android app that identifies the media you are exposed to, for statistics on media consumption. It is similar to Media Rewards. Joining Nicequest does not guarantee an invitation.

Move and earn (Atlas)By invitation

Turn on your phone’s location and share your daily movements. Brands use this to plan street advertising. You also get more surveys based on the places you go.

How much can you make?

You will not earn real money. You collect Korus and exchange them for gifts. Nicequest has an extensive list of rewards, and it ships them free of charge.

How many Korus a survey pays is not fixed. Some pay 20 Korus, others a lot less, and Nicequest does not explain its reward system on the website. It takes patience to earn enough for a proper reward.

Korus do not expire, so you can save for a gift. But the catalog changes all the time, so the gift you are saving for may not stay available.

What you can get for your Korus

RewardNotes
Gifts and merchandiseShipped free of charge. The catalog changes all the time.
Vouchers and creditsReaders report that the vouchers they wanted were removed or unavailable.
Sweepstakes entriesPrizes like phones, tablets and more Korus. Entries cost Korus.
DonationsTo one of the non-government organizations Nicequest supports

Nicequest does not pay cash. If you want the choice to get paid in cash, see the top survey sites that pay via PayPal.

What readers told me

This review has 8 comments since 2020: 4 from readers and 4 replies from me.

Vouchers that disappeared or cost more2 comments

Two members wrote in 2020 that the cheaper Amazon vouchers were dropped just as they got close, and that the rest cost more Korus.

Gift cards unavailable1 comment

A reader in 2023 found the gift cards she wanted “temporarily unavailable” for a month, and support did not know when they would be back.

Slow and smaller rewards1 comment

A reader in 2021 got rewards, but they took 45+ days to arrive, and rewards had become smaller.

“The number of ‘koros’ for an Amazon voucher started rising, AND the minimum voucher value also started rising, so you’re constantly chasing but not reaching a cash in.”

Mikael: Thanks for sharing your experiences about this … so others can see.

“Nicequest is dying i think, poor rewards, took ages to get some mailed to me (45+ days) all rrewards got demoted, a lot more work to a lot less rewards..”

Reader, November 2021
Mikael: Thanks for sharing your experiences about this.

“For one month, I have been checking to see if Cheesecake Factory, Walmart, Target and Amazon gift cards are available and all I have been getting is ‘TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE’ every single time!!!”

Reader, April 2023
Mikael: That definitely sounds frustrating. If you are interested, I can suggest some platforms that have those gift cards and that do not run out.

  2. Was a member for years, initially they were offering Amazon Vouchers, got to £20 quite quickly, but then the rot set in.
The number of ‘koros’ for an Amazon voucher started rising, AND the minimum voucher value also started rising, so you’re constantly chasing but not reaching a cash in.
Then they dropped the £25 voucher altogether, and now the £50 voucher is also gone, so all that’s left is a range of generally unappealing/unusable gift vouchers or tacky gifts that no normal person would want.
Like Thomas, the Amazon Vouchers were a good deal, but now, I’ve> 1000 koros and NOTHING that I could even vaguely want.
    A complete shower now!

  3. another problem with them is i originally signed up to go for amazon vouchers at the start they had £20 vouchers for set amount of shells but as i got closer to enough if suddenly disappeared and the lowest was £50 for even more shells then when i started to get near to enough again it vanished now the lowest is £100 voucher for a lot more shells

    • Thanks for sharing this Thomas. That really sounds frustrating – so you have not managed to actually get to the payout threshold and get your earnings yet?

I contacted Nicequest several times and all they ever say to me is that they don’t know when they’ll get their gift cards.

I say call the Better Business Bureau!
