I have tested Myiyo for a while and have been paid by it several times. It is a legit, easy survey site that pays through PayPal without fees, but it has few surveys and a €20 threshold. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend next to it.
Legit and easy to use, but few surveys and a high threshold
A classic survey site from a German research company. PayPal with no fees, but €20 takes patience to reach.

The short answer
Myiyo is legit. I have been paid by it myself several times. It is a classic paid survey site from mo’web research, a German market research company, and it is very easy to use.
But it does not have as many surveys as some other sites, and the €20 payout threshold takes patience to reach. It works best in the UK, Germany and France. I recommend joining other survey sites next to it.
- Easy to use
- Decent rewards

- Surveys you cannot find on other sites
- Points for confirming your email and filling out your profile
- Not as many opportunities as some other sites
- The payout threshold is a little high
- Mainly worth it in the UK, Germany and France

Myiyo has paid me several times, but it does not have surveys every day. These sites give you more chances to earn.

Is Myiyo legit and safe?
Yes, Myiyo is legit. There is a reliable company behind it, and I have been paid several times. But that does not mean it is the best use of your time. Here is what you should know.
- Not many surveys
Myiyo has a decent amount of surveys, but there will not always be one available, so you have to check back once in a while. Myiyo alone does not give you opportunities every day.
- A €20 threshold
You can only cash out once you have 20,000 points (€20). With the number of available surveys, that takes some patience.
- It depends on where you live
Myiyo is mainly aimed at Europe. From what I have found out, it has the most opportunities in the UK, Germany and France, so it is mainly worth joining there.
- You will not qualify for every survey
Fill out your profile first, so Myiyo can match surveys with you. Even then, you will not qualify for all of them. That is normal on survey sites.
My takeTo sum it up, I think Myiyo is a decent survey site. It does not give as many opportunities as some other sites, as it “only” offers paid surveys, but it has surveys you cannot find anywhere else. I like that it pays through PayPal and covers the fees. Overall, it can be worth joining if you live in one of the available countries, but I recommend also joining other and better survey sites to get more opportunities.
How you earn on Myiyo
There are 4 ways to earn. Paid surveys make up most of the points. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysMain earner
Myiyo is almost a classic paid survey site: you mainly earn with paid surveys. That makes it very easy to use, and it is quick to get an overview.
In the member area, you right away see if there are surveys available. You see how much each survey gives you and about how long it takes, so you can choose the ones that fit you best. How many surveys you get depends on where you live.
First, fill out your profile, so Myiyo can match surveys with you. It takes maybe 15 minutes, and you get a bonus for it.
Joining bonus600 points
You get your first 100 points for confirming your email, and another 500 points for filling out your profile. It is not worth a lot in cash, but it is nice compared to sites where you get nothing for your profile.
Referral program500 points (€0.50)
Share your link. When someone joins through it, you get 500 points, but only after they finish at least one survey. It is not a lot unless you know many people who want to join.
Membership levelsNot confirmed
You start as a novice and move up when you keep being active. A higher level supposedly gives you a lower payout threshold, but I have not been able to confirm this.
How much can you make?
It depends on how many surveys you take, how many you qualify for, and where you live. Myiyo only offers paid surveys, but from what I observed in my testing, it gives you decent opportunities.
If you take as many surveys as possible, you can make a bit of extra money on the side. Not as much as on sites that offer other ways to earn, but it can be a decent extra site, because it has surveys you cannot take on other platforms.
Paid surveys will not make you rich or give you a full-time income. With the right expectations, they are a great way to make some extra money.
Payout methods, minimum and fees
| Method | Minimum | Fee | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal | €20 (20,000 points) | None. Myiyo pays the PayPal fee. | All countries |
| Bank transfer | €20 (20,000 points) | Not stated | South Africa and Turkey |
| Donation to charity | Any amount | None | Three Little Birds, which supports groups in need |
Every survey and every friend you invite earns you points. 1,000 points are worth €1, and you are paid in euros in most countries. Outside the euro countries, what you get in your local currency depends on the exchange rate.
PayPal is my favorite way to get paid from survey sites, and it is great that Myiyo covers the fees. The downside is the €20 threshold, which takes some patience to reach.
Is Myiyo worth it in your country?
Myiyo is mainly aimed at Europe, and it has the most surveys in the UK, Germany and France. Pick your country to see where Myiyo stands on my list of the best sites there.

Wanna know more
I explain everything in the review above.
I have been participating since last year and after completing YourSurveys I don’t get my reward. They will like this survey is not for you , I mean after using my opinions?
Sorry to hear this Tebogo.
Do you mean that you will end up not qualifying for the surveys? Because unfortunately that sometimes happens, but if it happens all the time, it might be because it just simply is not a good survey site in the country you live in. Personally, I also do not very often qualify for the surveys from YourSurveys, but I know they have many surveys available, and I have also completed several of them myself.
But maybe it is because they do not have many in the country you live in. If you tell which country you live in, I can see, if I can come up with a couple of suggestions for survey sites with more opportunities there?
Mikael
I’m in South Africa
Have you tried ClixSense, Superpay.me, GlobalTestMarket, and Toluna? These are all great sites that are available in South Africa, so here you should be able to find quite a lot of surveys you can qualify for.
Mikael
Getting paid to take surveys has always been an interesting concept to me. From all the sites I’ve seen, the amount of time you spend taking them compared to how much you get paid doesn’t seem like it’s worth it. I know it’s all relative but if I were to spend roughly 2 hours a day taking survey on Myiyo, what would you estimate the pay out would be?
Hi Charlie,
Difficult to say how much you could make in 2 hours on Myiyo. Mostly because you will have different small surveys that takes around 10-20 minutes each, and on Myiyo you will usually not be able to have enough surveys in a day to do 2 hours. The rewards also varies from survey to survey. But if you are looking for a high paying hourly rate, paid surveys is not the way to go. It is however very easy and convenient, and at the same time a way to have ones opinion heard, and for those reasons I really like paid surveys and think it is worth it. But all depends on your intentions.
All the best,
Mikael
Hello Mikael,
Before joining Wealthy Affiliates, I did try a couple paid surveys, but had no idea which one was effective. I knew making money is never easy and when it’s easy, chances are it’s a scam.
In your opinion, do you think it’s worth doing surveys if you are in school looking for a part time job?
– Eric
Thanks for your comment Eric.
I think surveys are a great way to make a bit of extra money while going to school, as it is very easy, and you can do it from anywhere, as long as you have an internet connection. It is however important to remember that it will not make you rich, so it should be done only to make a bit of extra money on the side while also having your opinion heard, and not to make a living from it.
All the best,
Mikael
