LEO (Leger Opinion) Review 2026: Is It Legit? My Tested Results and Payment Proof

LEO Rating

LEO is a modern paid survey site with interesting surveys. It does not have a huge number of surveys but if you live in the US or Canada it can be a decent extra survey site to join.

I tested LEO (Leger Opinion) myself and show my payment proof in my video. It is legit and professional, but the payout threshold is high and the support is unstable. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend if you want to earn faster.

Personally Tested Payout Verified Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit, but a high threshold and slow support

A professional Canadian survey site with monthly contests. You need 20,000 points ($20) to cash out, and support can take weeks.

Good for you ifYou live in Canada or the US and want a secondary survey site, and you can be patient.
Skip it ifYou want to cash out often, or you live outside Canada and the US.

The short answer

LEO, or Leger Opinion, is a legit survey site that pays you for completing its surveys. Everything about it looks professional, from the website to the mobile app.

But the payout threshold is a bit high, so it can take patience to reach it, and the support is very unstable, in my experience. It can be a decent secondary site if you live in Canada or the US. Just don’t expect to earn a lot from it.

What I like
  • User-friendly site
  • Mobile app for Android and iOS
  • Several payment methods
  • Monthly contests with significant prizes
What I don’t like
  • Fairly high payout threshold: 20,000 points ($20)
  • You can only withdraw a specific amount per reward
  • Support is often slow
  • No guaranteed number of survey invites
  • Only Canada and the US

My experience with LEO

I tested LEO myself: the surveys, the contests, the rewards and the support. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is LEO legit and safe?

Yes, LEO is legit and pays you for its surveys. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know before you join.

  • A fairly high payout threshold

You need 20,000 points ($20) to cash out to PayPal or a prepaid Visa card. Based on my experience while testing the platform, it can take quite some time before you can cash out.

  • Fixed reward amounts

You can only redeem the exact value stated in the reward. If the PayPal reward says $20, that is the only value you can redeem.

  • Support is very unstable

I have been in contact with them several times. Sometimes I got a fairly quick reply, but other times it took weeks, and I had to write them several times to get an answer.

  • Surveys fill up

Each survey has a set number of respondents for each profile. If the quota is reached before you answer, you can be disqualified. LEO does not promise to email you about every survey, so log in often.

  • One account only

If LEO finds out you have another account, both accounts are closed right away, and you lose all your rewards.

My takeEverything about LEO screams professional. However, the biggest drawback is that its payout threshold is a bit high, so it can sometimes take a bit of patience to reach. And the support is very unstable, in my experience. It can be a decent secondary site to earn from if you live in Canada or the US. Just don’t expect to earn a lot from it.

How you earn on LEO

There are 3 ways to earn, plus one feature that does not pay. Surveys are the main one. Tap one to read more.

LEO surveysMain earner
Paid surveys on LEO

LEO has a decent number of surveys. When you log in, you see all available surveys, with the reward, the estimated time and the bonus contest entries for each.

On your first login, you see a profile survey. You are rewarded for it, so complete it right away.

Each survey has a set number of respondents for each profile. If other members fill the quota before you, you are disqualified or cannot continue. LEO usually only emails you when it must reach a quota, so log in often to check for surveys.

Monthly contestsPrizes, not guaranteed
LEO monthly contests

You earn contest entries, called chances, when you complete surveys. The profile survey gives you 5 chances. LEO usually holds more than one contest a month, and you can spread your chances over them.

Your chances reset at the end of every month, so you cannot save them up. The prizes are cash or checks worth a significant amount. In my opinion, these are some of the better contests held by survey sites.

Referral program1,000 points each
LEO referral program

You earn 1,000 points and one contest entry for each friend you refer. They have to complete their profile and answer at least one survey before you get the reward.

Love, Hate, RateNo pay
Love, Hate, Rate on Leger Opinion

You can rate any company, brand, product or service, such as a coffee shop or a city you visited. Leger uses this feedback to give ratings to businesses and brands.

You do not earn anything for it, but it is an interesting feature, in my opinion.

How much can you make?

To earn more, you have to complete a lot of surveys, and for that you need plenty of survey invites. There is no guarantee you get a regular number. You may get a few surveys per quarter, month or week, depending on LEO’s current needs and how often your profile matches its clients.

Because you need 20,000 points to cash out, it can take quite some time to reach a payout. Overall, the earning potential is a bit low. If you are lucky in the contests, they can boost your earnings.

Payout methods and minimums

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal20,000 points ($20)Only the exact amount stated in the reward
Prepaid Visa debit card20,000 points ($20)Cash alternative to PayPal
Gift cards: Starbucks and Tim HortonsThe value stated in the rewardFixed amounts
Reward miles: Aeroplan and Air MilesThe value stated in the rewardConvert your points into miles
CheckThe value stated in the rewardRequested from LEO

LEO pays in points: 1,000 points is $1. The redemption is straightforward, but you can only redeem the exact value stated in each reward, which makes it less versatile. I do like that it offers several payment options. For more sites with PayPal, see the top survey sites in Canada and the top survey sites in the US.

Is LEO available in your country?

You can only register from Canada and the US. Pick your country to see if LEO is on my list of the best sites there, and which sites are.

What 22 readers told me

This review has 22 comments since September 2020: 11 from readers and 11 replies from me. These are the three things readers wrote about most.

Points not credited, blocked accounts and glitches5 comments

Readers report surveys that glitch or end before the finish, points that were not added, and one blocked account. Contact the support first, but expect it to take patience.

Slow cashouts4 comments

Readers waited a long time for their rewards. I agree that payment processing is very slow at times compared to many other sites.

ID checks at cashout1 comment

Expect any survey site to ask for some kind of verification before it pays you.

“You can only cashout $20 at a time and processing it takes 10-15 business days and even then it will be another few days until you actually get paid.”

Reader, February 2022
Mikael: I agree that the payment processing is very slow at times compared to many other sites. Personally, I also have had quite poor experiences with their support…

“I earned a gift card and they blocked my account and didn’t pay. Customer service doesn’t reply.”

Reader, February 2026
Mikael: Sorry to hear that. Did they say why they blocked you account?

“Does anyone know if they ask for photo ID or selfie when you go to cash out your points?”

Reader, September 2023
Mikael: In general, you should expect any survey site to ask for some kind of verification before they pay you. They have a lot of fraud, so they have to do this.

  1. I’ve been using Leo for a bit . The last little while I’ve been booted out when nearing the end . I have my wifi on at home when doing survey. After 3 times I gave up. Total waste of my minutes. Not to mention frustrating.

  3. MIKAEL, HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF BROX SURVEYS OR BROXPANEL.COM? I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM THEM, BUT HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THEM. LET ME KNOW IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING, THANK YOU.

    • No, I have not heard about it, and I cannot find the info and the website you shared is not working. If you received an email from them without ever having signed up or said yes to getting emails, it is suspicious, so I would be very careful.

  4. I’ve completed the survey that worth 2000 Points. But unfortunately, no points had been added to my account. I’ve been waiting for over a week now. Disappointing. Also it takes a while to get to those 20000 in order to redeem.

  5. 0 stars for LEO.
I have been doing surveys since a long time. But they are so disappointing now.
They have not deposited 20000points that I have earned by doing a lengthy focused group survey!
They shows the record in “History” page as if it has been given to fool me. But my total points did nit go up by 20000points and they did not give the points that I earned so far and I keep messaging them- I stopped doing their surveys since this fraud.

They will try their best to avoid giving large amount of points even if we’ve spent our time and shared the true information. If a company cannot correct the mistakes and do the just, there is no trust left from any aspect!!

  6. I find earning the points simple enough and they do pay out a decent number of points even if you don’t qualify for the full survey. Where they fall down though is in the redemption process. You can only cashout $20 at a time and processing it takes 10-15 business days and even then it will be another few days until you actually get paid. If you want to cash in more than the 20000 points you need to get $20, you’ll have to wait until the previous cashout is processed. As an example, I cashed out 80000 points starting in mid-November, and it took me over 6 weeks to cash out completely. Annoying.

        • You have not used VPN to make it look like you are from the US even though you really live in another country? Because the location from where you are committing suggests that you are not physically located in the US.

If that is the case, then they will not pay you as it is fraud to use VPN to make it look like you are from a country you are not. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country. Which country do you live in? Then I will be happy to suggest some sites that are available there.
