LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com has closed
The LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com website is gone, and its domain is now parked. You can no longer buy anything there. It was never a survey site: it charged $9.97 for an e-book with a list of survey companies, and you should never have to pay for that. I keep my review below as a record. The free sites I would pick instead are further down.
LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com sold an e-book with a list of survey companies for $9.97. It has now closed. I looked into it myself before that and found many red flags. Below is what I found, and which free sites I would pick instead.

The short answer
LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com has closed. Its website is gone, and the domain is parked. You can no longer buy anything there.
When it was running, it was not a paid survey site. You could not earn on it. It charged $9.97 for an e-book with a list of survey companies, and it used exaggerated income claims, a fake sample survey and small print to sell it. All legit survey sites are free to join, so it was never worth the money, in my opinion.
- Was honest about the fact that it cost money
- LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com has closed
- Cost money, and no legit survey site charges you to join or to get information
- Used a fake sample survey
- Promised unrealistic hourly pay and pay per survey
- Small print at the bottom said there were no guarantees, and all sales were final
- No real information about who was behind the site
My experience with LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com
I looked at the LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com website more than once over the years, read its claims and the small print, and checked who was behind it. I did not buy the e-book.

What LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com sold
LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com was quite honest about what it offered: an e-book with a list of more than 450 companies that offer paid surveys and focus group interviews. It promised all the information you needed to start a home business and make good money online with surveys.
If you bought the e-book, you also got bonus information about how to get paid to drive, to read emails and to pass out flyers. That was all it offered. You could not take surveys or earn anything on the site itself.
The e-book and the bonus downloads used to cost $17, but the price came down to a one-time fee of $9.97. The site called it a limited-time offer, but it said that for years. It was just a trick to make you buy now.
I have tested many survey sites, and none of the good ones would ever charge you to join. You can find this information for free, and it is often more honest.
Was LegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com a scam?
Whether it was a scam depends on how you define one. But the site was not transparent or honest about a lot of things, in my opinion. These were the red flags.
- It cost money
All survey sites worth joining are free. If a site charges you to join or to give you a list of survey sites, walk away, no matter how tempting the offer sounds.
- Exaggerated pay claims
It said your hourly pay could be $5 to $150 and that you could make $75 to $250 per survey. You will not make $150 an hour, even on the best survey sites, and surveys that pay $250 are rare clinical research studies.
- A fake sample survey
Its sample survey had 20 very easy questions that took about 5 minutes, and it claimed surveys like that pay $45. That is completely unrealistic.
- No real information about the owner
There was only a contact button and a name, Jason Harris, who was called Jay Harris when I first looked. His picture looked like a stock photo.
- A pop-up “special” offer
When you tried to leave, a pop-up could offer the product for less than half the price. If the product was worth anything, that would not happen.
- Claims you could make as much as you want
You cannot decide how much you make with surveys. It depends on the surveys available, and surveys will not give you a full-time income.
- Small print and no refunds
The small print said there was no guarantee you would make any money and that you could lose your money. All sales were final, even with a big “100% satisfaction guarantee” on the page.
My takeLegitPaidOnlineSurveys.com has closed, but sites like it still exist. If a site asks you to pay for a list of survey sites, do not pay. See how to avoid survey scams, and use the free alternatives below.
