I signed up for Hintsters to see if its surveys and paid reviews are worth your time. It is legit, but there are few ways to earn and the payout threshold is high. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend instead.

Hintsters is legit. You can earn from its surveys and from writing reviews of products and services you have tried, and it is open more or less worldwide.
But there are not a lot of surveys, the rewards are low, and you can only cash out to PayPal from $25. That is a bad combination. The site is also full of pop-up ads. I do not really recommend joining Hintsters. There are better survey sites.

Is Hintsters legit and safe?
Yes, Hintsters is legit, because you can earn from the surveys and reviews. But being legit does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- $25 is hard to reach
There are not a lot of surveys, and they pay up to $1 to $1.5. Even with the $5 sign-up bonus, it takes a long time to reach the $25 PayPal threshold.
- A lot of pop-up ads
You see pop-up ads a lot, on a phone and on a computer. They make the site annoying to use.
- You cannot count on review pay
Hintsters does not say what a review pays. You are rewarded for quality and for positive feedback from other members, and you should only review what you have really tried. That may be once or twice a month.
- Surveys that did not credit
One reader wrote in 2022 that none of the surveys she did were credited. If that happens, contact Hintsters through its contact form.
My takeIn my opinion, Hintsters isn’t really a great survey to join. It has a high payout threshold, but there aren’t a lot of ways to earn, which is a bad combination. You will have to be very patient because it will take quite some time before you will be able to reach the threshold and withdraw your earnings.
Hintsters has few surveys and a $25 threshold. The top sites in your country let you cash out sooner.

You get an email when a survey is available, or you log in and see the list. Every survey shows its estimated time and reward.
You first answer qualifying questions, which do not pay. If you qualify, you answer the real survey, and the reward goes to your Hintsters balance. You will not get many surveys, so answer every one you receive.
ReviewsBased on quality
Click Reviews in the member dashboard to review apps, TV shows, books, movies, hotels and restaurants. You are rewarded for the quality of your review and for positive feedback from other members, so cover the good and the bad, and how it compares to others.
Only review products or services you have personally tried. That is the ethical thing to do. Hintsters does not say what a review pays.
How much can you make?
It mostly depends on how many surveys you can complete. A survey usually pays up to $1 to $1.5. That is not a bad rate, but not that good either.
Reviews are not something you can count on, because you will not have tried most of the products and services up for review. Done the honest way, that is a review once or twice a month at most. With few surveys and a $25 threshold, Hintsters’ earning potential is very low.

I have just been on there to look so it certainly does exist, however I have tried claiming some free samples and personally my impression so far is that this is just a ruse to get your information for plenty of spam to come your way. If I actually receive any samples I will return here to update everyone but I will not be holding my breath. 🙂

Message for Hinsters Surveys okay I tried some of the surveys and it happens to be that none of them credit at all wondering why that is? Initially when I did the site it did for initial registration that’s it. So asking Hinsters Surveys to please work on fixing technical support the surveys to credit how they should at random or at least something site as is what it’s intended for surveys thanks and other than that everything else is understood the site itself did a full overview already.
