Growfitter is legit. You really receive rewards for fitness activities like walking, running and cycling. You earn through challenges, fitness activities and referrals.
But it does not offer any cash rewards, and the rewards worth a lot take weeks or months of activity. Most rewards are only for people in India. It is a decent app to stay motivated to exercise, not a way to earn extra cash.

Is Growfitter legit and safe?
Yes, Growfitter is legit. You really receive rewards for fitness activities. But that does not mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- No cash rewards
Growfitter only gives gift cards, vouchers, tickets, merchandise and gadgets. If you want to earn cash, it is not for you.
- The good rewards take weeks or months
Short-term rewards are easier to earn but not worth much. Long-term rewards are worth the most, but they can take weeks or months. The rewards for challenges are not much unless the challenge is really hard.
- Mostly for people in India
You can register in the US, India, Singapore or the UAE, but most rewards are only for people in India. Growfitter calls itself India’s biggest incentivized wellness platform.
- Ads on the website
The website shows ads, which is unusual for a fitness app and makes the site look a bit spammy. There is also no help page or FAQ.
My takeIn my opinion, Growfitter is a decent app to help you stay motivated to keep on exercising. Just keep in mind that the app doesn’t offer any cash rewards. There are some great rewards, though, but you have to invest a lot of time and effort to earn them. If your goal is to earn extra cash, you are better off with other apps or online rewards sites.

Go to the “Challenges” section in the app to see the challenges you can join. Meet the requirements to earn the reward. For example, one challenge asked you to walk for at least 100 minutes within three days, tracked by Growfitter.
There were not a lot of challenges in my testing. If you see one, join it to get the most out of the app. Challenges usually reward you with gift cards for Amazon or fitness products.
Fitness activitiesMost valuable
You earn from running, walking, cycling and answering health quizzes. First you pick a short-term, medium-term or long-term reward, based on your commitment. Then you go to the “Activity” section and choose an activity.
You see how many active days you need. Complete the activity every day to collect “Growfitter Active Days”. When you reach the target, you claim the reward and start again. You can change the term of your reward.
Rewards include movie tickets, flight ticket vouchers, protein shakers, fitness merchandise and gadgets like headphones, Bluetooth speakers, fitness bands, AirPods, iPhones, or even an international hotel booking. They vary, so do not expect the same rewards every time.
Referral program10 + 10 points
Share your invite code. When someone enters it at registration, you both get 10 Growfitter Points. When your referral completes their first activity, you get 10 more points.
You redeem points for gift cards for Uber, Starbucks, H&M, Apple, Amazon and other brands. How many points you need depends on the reward.
How much can you make?
Technically, you cannot earn money, because Growfitter does not offer cash rewards. The value of what you get depends on the activities and challenges you complete.
The only rewards worth a significant amount are the medium-term and long-term rewards for fitness activities. The more time and effort a reward takes, the more it is worth.
Overall, the time-to-money ratio of this app is not great. The real value is staying healthy and in good shape. If you want to earn, you are better off with other apps or online rewards sites.
