Was Gift Hunter Club legit and safe?

Gift Hunter Club has closed, so you can no longer join or earn on it. When it was running, it was legit, and it paid me many times. These were the catches.

  • It has closed

The website is not available anymore, so you cannot sign up or cash out there.

  • Lower rewards than similar sites

Compared to similar and more popular GPT sites, Gift Hunter Club paid slightly lower rewards.

  • Not every survey was for you

You did not qualify for all surveys, and how many you got depended a lot on your country. It took some patience to find the ones you qualified for.

  • Verification at your first cashout

Gift Hunter Club could ask for ID or phone verification, usually only the first time you cashed out. It varied from country to country.

  • Offers to read carefully

Some offerwall offers could boost your earnings, and others were a waste of time. Reading the conditions first told you what to expect.

My takeGift Hunter Club has closed, so it is no longer an option. When it was running, it was a decent site, especially in Spanish-speaking countries, but it was not one of the sites I used the most. Other sites made it easier to earn. See the alternatives below.

How you earned on Gift Hunter Club

There were five ways to earn. Tap each one to read more.

Paid surveysShown per survey
Examples of surveys on Gift Hunter Club

Surveys were one of the best ways to earn. Gift Hunter Club had no surveys of its own, but it gave you access to a lot of surveys from its partners. You took them on a partner’s site, and the reward went into your Gift Hunter Club account.

You could see about how long a survey would take and what it paid before you started, and the rewards for your time were decent. There were quite a lot of surveys every day, but you did not qualify for all of them. After a while, you learned which kinds you most often qualified for.

OfferwallsPer offer

Gift Hunter Club gave you access to quite a lot of offerwalls. The tasks could be signing up for newsletters, free trials, watching videos, downloading apps or games, and much more. The offerwalls also had extra surveys.

Some offers were very good and could boost your earnings, and others were a waste of time. Read the conditions before you take an offer, so you know exactly what to expect.

Daily and weekly bonus10% a day
Gift Hunter Club daily and weekly bonus

With at least 4 activities in a day, such as 4 surveys or offers, you got a 10% bonus on that day’s earnings. You could get it every day you did the activities.

The weekly bonus was 10 cents if you earned at least 1 cent every day for a week. A very small bonus, but very easy to get.

Referral program10% of their earnings

When a friend joined through you, you got 10% of whatever they earned, without them losing anything. You also got 75 cents when they had earned their first dollar.

It was a nice extra if you knew friends who were interested, but it only gave you a little unless you invited a lot of people.

ContestsTop 10 each month

Members took part in the contests automatically. When I last updated my review, the only one was a monthly referral contest: the 10 members who invited the most new members got an extra reward, around $35 for first place and around $1 for tenth place.

Not a huge reward, and you had to invite a lot of new members to get close to it.

How much could you make?

It depended a lot on your country, because that decided how many opportunities you had. You could make some nice extra cash, but not a living, as with any other survey or GPT site.

Compared to similar and more popular GPT sites, the rewards were slightly lower, so I would not call the earning potential great. If you lived in a Spanish-speaking country, there were more opportunities than average.

How Gift Hunter Club paid

Every activity earned you cents, so it was easy to see exactly what you earned. You got 75 cents as a joining bonus, and you could request a payout from $10.

MethodMinimumNotes
PayPal$10The only option in my country, and the one I used many times

I want to know this site need phone number or ID picture for verication while redeem money or piont .
            Please answer me .
            Thanks .

          • I actually do not remember what type of verification they asked for the first time I cashed out as it has been several years and they only ask the first time if they ask. But it is a legit site and if you do everything honestly, it should not be a problem to verify your account as it will be very easy.

    • Absolute joke of a site stay well clear. They have had my reward pending investigation for a month. They paid one after about 25 days and about 5 emails from me and said the other would follow in a few days 10 days later nothing and now don’t reply to emails.

  3. Hi Mikael,

I was not familiar with Gift Hunter Club until I read your review. I’ve tried survey sites in the past and I think you make a really good point. They’re good for earning a little extra money, but not a full time income.

In my opinion, I’d rather spend that time learning how to make enough money online to be able to quit my job and retire.

    Thanks for the article!

If you are aiming to make a full-time income online, I think it is great, and then you should be looking in another direction. But for anyone just wanting to make some money on the side, surveys are a great way that you can started with very easily.

      All the best,

  4. Hi, Mikael.

I am not too familiar with Gift Hunter Club, but I have found other programs that seem to be similar to it. Swagbucks is probably the most popular one.

I think these types of deals are OK for earning a little extra money, especially if you’re going to be doing the activities anyway, like watching videos. However, I think for most people, the amount of time you have to spend in exchange for what you are actually paid will make most people pass on them. Just my opinion.

    • Thanks for your comment Andy.

Swagbucks is definitely one of the most popular sites and also a very good choice, if you live in one of the countries where it is available.

About if it is worth it or not, I really think it depends on your expectations. If you join the right survey sites, it can be a great way to make some extra money on the side, and you can do it without any training and without any investment. And it is probably the online way to make money online where that is the case. For many people that is a great option. But if you are looking for a way to make a living online, I agree that then paid surveys are not the way to go. So all depends on your intentions and expectations.

      All the best,
      Mikael
