I looked at Evidation, formerly the Achievement app, to see if it is worth your time. It is a legit fitness platform that rewards healthy activities, but the rewards are low and capped. Below is how you earn, how you get paid, and which sites I recommend if you want to earn more.
Legit and good motivation to exercise, but a weak way to earn
Points for health cards and workouts, capped at 80 points a day from exercise. PayPal or gift cards from 10,000 points ($10). US and Canada only.

The short answer
Evidation is legit. It is a fitness platform, formerly called the Achievement app, that rewards you with points for health cards, workouts and referrals. You can redeem the points for PayPal cash or gift cards.
But the rewards are low, and you can earn a maximum of 80 points a day from exercise. You need 10,000 points ($10) to redeem anything. If your goal is to earn extra cash, Evidation is not the right fit. Its real value is the motivation to stay active.
- Pays through PayPal, and gift cards
- The app is user-friendly
- Helps motivate you to exercise or be physically active
- Limited earning opportunities
- Exercise points are capped at 80 a day
- Referral rewards stop after 20 referrals
- Low rewards: most cards pay 5 to 50 points
- A 6% fee on PayPal withdrawals
- Only for the US and Canada
My experience with Evidation
I signed up for Evidation and went through the health cards, the list of fitness apps and devices you can connect, the referral program and the rewards. This is what I looked at myself, and what I did not test.

Is Evidation legit and safe?
Yes, Evidation is legit. You really earn rewards for the activities you complete. But that does not mean it is worth your time if you want to earn. Here is what you should know.
- The rewards are low
Apart from the first couple of surveys, most cards pay only 5 to 50 points. With 10,000 points needed for $10, it takes a long time to redeem anything.
- Exercise points are capped
You can earn a maximum of 80 points a day from your workouts. If you already exercise, see the points as a bonus, not an income.
- You need a fitness app or device
Evidation does not have its own workout tracker. To earn from exercise, you connect a supported third-party fitness app or device and use it when you work out.
- Some cards expire
Some cards have an expiration date. Do the ones that are about to expire first, or you miss the points.
- A fee on PayPal cashouts
A 6% service fee applies when you withdraw through PayPal, and rewards can take up to five business days to arrive.
My takeIf your goal is to earn extra cash, I would say Evidation is not the right fit for you. But if you are just looking for a platform to support your fitness goals or to motivate you to exercise, Evidation is a decent option.
Evidation pays very little for your time. These sites are a better way to earn extra cash.
See the best alternativesHow you earn on Evidation
There are 3 ways to earn points. Tap one to read more.
Health cards5 to 50 points
You see all available cards as soon as you log in. Most cards are a survey or poll about health and wellness. Answer honestly, and you get the points shown on the card.
Some cards ask you to do other things, like connect a fitness device. Some cards expire, so do the ones that are about to expire first. Apart from the first couple of surveys, most cards pay 5 to 50 points.
ExercisingUp to 80 points a day
Evidation does not have its own workout tracker. Connect a supported fitness app or device to your account with the “Connect” button, then work out as you normally would while you use it.
You earn points for biking, walking, running, swimming and other exercise, up to a maximum of 80 points a day.
Referral program100 points each
Share your referral code, and ask your friend to enter it when they register. Once they complete one activity or connect an app, you get 100 points.
You can only earn from your first 20 referrals. Referrals after that do not count.
How much can you make?
It depends on how active you are on the platform. If you exercise regularly and use your connected apps, you will eventually reach the 10,000 points you need to redeem a reward.
But most activities do not pay well, and the 80-point daily cap on exercise limits what you can earn per day. That is why I would say Evidation’s earning potential is not very good. Its main value is that it helps you stay motivated to exercise. If you want more apps like it, see the best walk and earn apps.
Payout methods, minimum and speed
| Method | Minimum | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal (6% service fee) | 10,000 points ($10) | Up to five business days |
| Gift cards, sent by email through Tremendous | 10,000 points ($10) | Up to five business days |
I like that Evidation offers PayPal, because it is very convenient. If you want more sites that pay this way, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Speeds are what Evidation states. My review does not show a payout from Evidation.
