DailyRewards Review – Legit or Scam? (Full Details)

DailyRewards Rating

DailyRewards gives quite a lot of ways to earn a bit of side cash if you live in Canada. The downside is its high payout threshold but you get a $5 joining bonus which will give a good start.

I signed up for DailyRewards and explored every way to earn in the member area. It is a legit GPT site for Canadians, but the $30 cashout takes a while to reach. Below is how it works, how you get paid, and what to watch out for.

The short answer

DailyRewards is a legit GPT site. It does what it claims to do. It is run by the same company as InboxDollars, and you earn money, not points, for offers, surveys and games.

But it is only for people who live in Canada, and you need $30 before you can cash out. Some offers, like the cash games, ask you to spend your own money first. If you live in Canada, it can be a decent extra site.

What I like
  • Pays you real money, not points
  • Payment via PayPal or gift cards
  • Several ways to earn, with something to do every day
  • $5 bonus when you confirm your email
  • Live chat support and a knowledge base
What I don’t like
  • Relatively high payment threshold of $30
  • Only open to Canadian residents
  • Cash games and some offers need your own money first
  • Fewer surveys than on other GPT sites

Is DailyRewards legit and safe?

Yes, DailyRewards is a legit GPT site. But there are some things you should know before you start.

  • Some offers need your own money

When you play a cash game, you are signed up for WorldWinner/GSN with your email. To win cash, you have to deposit your own money into that account. Some other offers also ask you to spend money before you get the reward. Read the instructions before you start one.

  • Accounts can be closed

One reader reports that DailyRewards deactivated their account after a big offer, saying it broke the terms of use. Using a VPN, proxy or anything that hides your location is not allowed. If you do, your account is closed and you lose your earnings.

  • A high threshold

You need $30 to cash out, which takes many offers. After you ask for a payment, it takes 3 to 5 days.

  • Promo emails from game providers

The cash games use the email address of your DailyRewards account for your GSN account, so expect promo emails from them. If you do not want those, skip the games.

My takeDailyRewards is a legit GPT site that lets you earn a bit of money by completing its offers. What I like is the bonus for finishing the daily to-do list. It is not a big reward, but it helps you get to the $30 threshold. There are many great survey and GPT sites in Canada, so join a few others too.

How you earn on DailyRewards

There are 4 ways to earn, plus a small daily bonus. Cash offers can pay the most. Tap one to read more.

Cash offersMost per task
Cash offers on DailyRewards

Offers ask you to do a survey, sign up for a site, watch a video, or try a product or service. The more work an offer takes, the higher the reward. Signing up for a credit card pays much more than a survey.

Follow the steps carefully, or you do not get the reward. Some offers are not worth it, and others pay well for your time, so read the conditions first.

Paid surveysExtra earnings
Paid surveys on DailyRewards

The Survey section has DailyRewards’ own surveys and surveys from other sites. You answer a few pre-qualifying questions first. If you do not qualify, it stops right away, so you can move on to the next one.

There are not as many surveys as on other GPT sites, but it is worth checking for a bit extra.

Cash gamesNeeds a deposit
Cash games on DailyRewards

You earn cashback for playing games from WorldWinner/GSN. To compete for cash prizes, you have to deposit your own money and upgrade your WorldWinner account. The earnings are added to your DailyRewards account.

I see it as a risky way to earn, because you have to put in your own money first.

Referral program10% of their earnings
DailyRewards referral program

You earn 10% of what your referrals earn. You can invite up to three people at a time by name and email, or use a referral banner on your own website. It is not a high percentage, but it adds up if you know many people to invite.

Daily to-do listSmall bonus
The DailyRewards daily to-do list

You get a small bonus for finishing your daily to-do list. It is not a lot, but you get it for doing what you would do anyway.

How much can you make?

It depends on how active you are. The more offers you complete, the more you earn. During my testing, there was always something to do every day to get closer to the $30 threshold.

So DailyRewards has some earning potential, plus the referral program. But do not expect it to replace the income from your job.

How you get paid

Rewards are shown in dollars, so you see right away what each offer pays. You can cash out through PayPal or with gift cards. For PayPal, you need $30 and an active PayPal account.

MethodProcessing time
PayPal3 to 5 days
Gift cards3 to 5 days

The $5 joining bonus counts toward the $30, so you start a little closer.

Mobile, who can join, and support

There is no DailyRewards app, but the website works well in the browser on your phone. You can do offers while you wait in line or on your commute.

DailyRewards is a Canadian GPT site, and only Canadian residents can join. You must be at least 18. Its terms say: “Methods used to obscure or hide the country or location of a computer or device, along with the use of a VPN, proxy, or Private (Blocked) IPs to connect to DailyRewards is prohibited.”

Sign-up is one short form. Confirm your email, and you get the $5 bonus.

For help, log in and click the Support tab in the upper right. There is a knowledge base for common issues, and a chat button to talk to a support representative. DailyRewards also has an active Facebook page.

Is DailyRewards worth it in your country?

  1. Daily Rewards is a SCAM!!! They have horrible/ nonexistent customer service and there is no phone number or email address to contact them. A couple weeks ago, I signed up with them and saw they have an offer to make $300 to sign up as an Uber Eats driver and complete one delivery. I went through the entire lengthy verification process and finally completed a delivery. The next day, when I tried to login to check my reward status for completing this offer, I could not login and an error message popped up saying my account was deactivated. I was so confused on why this happened and I submitted a support ticket online. Once they replied, they told me that my account was deactivated because I violated their terms of use. I asked them to clarify what exactly I violated but they replied with no answer, only to tell me the case is now closed and any rewards I earned is gone. They advertised a $300 offer and when I completed all the complicated steps, they just deactivated my account. If thats not a scam I don’t know what is. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

    • Sorry to hear that. I know many people that have been paid by Daily Rewards without issues so have no idea what happened in your case. Definitely sounds frustrating but I would suggest you just go over their terms again and check what might have caused this so you are aware when using other sites. Hopefully, you will be able to figure out what has happened so you can avoid it happening again.

One thing you definitely need to make sure of is that you do not use VON or anything like that as that is fraud and goes against their terms. Sometimes you might even have a VPN enabled without being aware.

    • Ok. If you want money, you need to register and do the work it takes. But just remember that DailyRewards or any other GPT sites for that matter is NOT a way to become rich or make a full-time income.
