I tested the CashGamer app to see if it is worth your time. It is legit and pays through PayPal or Amazon gift cards from just $1, but there are few ways to earn and the rewards are low. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Legit, but not worth your time
An Android-only GPT app with surveys and games. A $1 cashout, but few opportunities and very low rewards.

The short answer
CashGamer is a legit GPT app. It really rewards you for answering surveys and playing mobile games, and it pays through PayPal or Amazon gift cards.
But CashGamer is not an app worth using, because of the low earning potential it offers. There are few surveys and games, and the rewards are low. You are better off investing your time in apps or sites that have higher earning potential.
- Offers convenient payout options: PayPal and Amazon gift cards
- Low payout threshold: $1
- Available more or less worldwide
- User-friendly app without annoying pop-up ads
- Limited earning opportunities
- Low rewards
- Doesn’t have a FAQ or Help page in the app
- Only works on Android

Is CashGamer legit and safe?
Yes, CashGamer is legit, because it really rewards you for the surveys and games it offers. But that does not make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.
- Low earning potential
A survey pays around 30 to 50 tickets, around $0.25. Even with the low $1 threshold, it takes some time before you can redeem a reward.
- Few games and surveys
When I tested it, there were not a lot of games, which I found a bit weird for an app that works with Playtime. The number of surveys is also a bit limited compared to other GPT apps.
- Some game missions ask for in-game purchases
These missions offer significantly higher rewards, because money is involved. Read the mission before you start, and only spend money you are fine with losing.
- Open games from the app, and allow tracking
Always open a game from the My Games section, not from your phone’s menu, so CashGamer can track your progress. You must also allow the app to track data usage.
- Support by email only
There is no FAQ or Help section, only a short tutorial. For questions, you email support.
My takeCashGamer is not something I would recommend to my friends. The app is user-friendly, but you will have to invest a lot of time before you can earn a decent amount. You are better off with apps or sites that have higher earning potential.
How you earn on CashGamer
There are 3 ways to earn. All of them pay in tickets. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveysAround 30 to 50 tickets
CashGamer works with a couple of popular survey providers, like CPX Research. Pick a provider and answer the profile questions first. Then you see if there are surveys for you.
Each survey starts with qualifying questions. If you qualify and complete it, you earn the reward in the survey offer. How many surveys you get depends on your profile and location, but compared to other GPT sites and apps, the number is a bit limited.
Playing gamesTickets per mission
CashGamer works with Playtime for its games. Each game has missions, most often to reach a certain level. Some missions ask for in-game purchases; those pay significantly more.
Install a game from the CashGamer Games section, then always open it from My Games so your progress is tracked. When I tested it, there were not a lot of games, so it is hard to earn regularly from this.
Referral program$10 + 10%
Share your invite code. Your referral enters it after they sign up. When your referral cashes out at least $3, you get a $10 referral reward, plus a 10% commission every time they earn.
How much can you make?
Very little. For a GPT app, CashGamer does not offer a lot of earning opportunities, so it is a challenge to earn from it regularly. The rewards are also quite low.
On average, a survey pays around 30 to 50 tickets, around $0.25. You will have to invest a lot of time to earn a significant amount. For more ways to earn with games, see the best ways to earn money by playing games online.
Payout methods and minimums
| Method | Minimum | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| PayPal | 200 tickets ($1) | Cash to your PayPal account |
| Amazon gift card | 200 tickets ($1) | Same threshold as PayPal |
Every earning method pays in tickets. The payout system is straightforward and convenient, but the low threshold does not mean you can withdraw quickly, because the rewards are low. For more sites with convenient payouts, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.
Apps I recommend instead of CashGamer
| Site | Best for | Min. cashout | My rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Freecash | Cash for games, offers and surveys | $5 for PayPal, gift cards and crypto | 4.2 / 5 |
| Gemsloot | Featured games that pay the most | $3 for PayPal | 3.8 / 5 |
| appKarma | Game offers and playtime rewards, available globally | $3 PayPal; gift cards from $1 | 3.5 / 5 |
| AttaPoll | Survey app with a low threshold and quick cashouts | $4 | 3.3 / 5 |
