BrandBee Review – Is it Legit? (Details Explained)

BrandBee Rating

BrandBee is not a bad app. It has significantly improved since its first iteration. However, I would only recommend you join it if you need an additional app to earn from.

BrandBee, the app that used to be called Mobile Performance Meter, pays you in coins for surveys, receipts, cashback and games. I tested it myself. It is legit and easy to use, but the rewards are low. Below is what I found, and which apps I recommend instead.

Personally Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit and user-friendly, but the rewards are low

Surveys, receipts, cashback and games, with PayPal and gift cards from $3. Few surveys, and only in a few countries like the US.

Good for you ifYou live in the US and want an additional app to earn from, with tempered expectations.
Skip it ifYou want one main app to earn a good amount from, or BrandBee is not on Google Play in your country.

The short answer

BrandBee is legit. You can really earn rewards from it. It has significantly improved since its first version as Mobile Performance Meter: there are now surveys, Magic Receipts, cashback offers and games, and PayPal cash from $3.

But you will not earn a lot from BrandBee. When I tested it, there were only about 5 to 6 surveys a day at around $0.30 to $0.50 each, and the cashback rates were low. I would only recommend it if you need an additional app to earn from.

What I like
  • The app is user-friendly, with no annoying pop-up ads
  • Has partnered with popular retail stores
  • PayPal and gift cards from $3 (300 coins)
  • Several ways to earn: surveys, receipts, cashback and games
  • Available on Android and iOS
What I don’t like
  • Low rewards
  • Only about 5 to 6 surveys a day when I tested it
  • Low cashback rates
  • Only available in a few countries, like the US
  • No desktop version

My experience with BrandBee

I installed BrandBee and used its earning methods myself. Most of my earnings came from the games. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is BrandBee legit and safe?

Yes, BrandBee is legit, because you can really earn rewards from it. But that doesn’t mean it is worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • Low rewards

Surveys pay around 30 to 50 coins ($0.30 to $0.50), and there were only about 5 to 6 a day when I tested it. You also have to qualify for each one. The cashback rates were quite low too.

  • Some game tasks ask for purchases

Task-based offerwalls sometimes ask you to make in-app purchases. These usually pay more, but some of them are not worth it. Be careful which ones you complete.

  • Cashback takes a while

Cashback is not credited right away. The store must wait for its refund period to clear before it pays BrandBee.

  • Clear receipt photos only

A Magic Receipt is rejected if the photo is blurry. That happened to me once. Always submit a new receipt; the app does not say how old a receipt may be.

  • Only in a few countries

BrandBee does not list its countries. From what I can see, it is only available in a few, like the US and possibly Canada.

My takeIn my opinion, BrandBee is not a bad app. It has significantly improved since its first iteration. However, I would only recommend you join it if you need an additional app to earn from. Just make sure to temper your expectations a bit in terms of its earning potential.

BrandBee’s rewards are low. These apps and sites have better earning potential where you live.

How you earn on BrandBee

There are 4 ways to earn. Games paid me the most. Tap one to read more.

Games on offerwallsBest earner for me
Games on BrandBee offerwalls

You choose an offerwall to see the games you can play. Time-based offerwalls pay you for playing a game for a certain time, with diminishing returns: you earn less the longer you play the same game. Task-based offerwalls pay you for tasks, usually reaching a certain level.

Some tasks ask for in-app purchases. They usually pay much more, but some of them are not worth it. When I tested it, there were a good number of offerwalls, and the bulk of my earnings came from them. Some offerwalls also pay a little for watching videos, but those are not worth prioritizing.

Paid surveys30 to 50 coins
Surveys in the BrandBee app

Pick a survey and answer a few qualifying questions. If you qualify, you answer the survey and get coins. If not, you move on to the next one. When I tested the app, there were only about 5 to 6 surveys a day, so it is quite hard to earn regularly from them.

Magic ReceiptsCoins per deal
Magic Receipts deals in BrandBee

Pick a deal in the Magic Receipts section and buy the product in a physical store. Each deal shows the product, the quantity you need to buy and the participating stores. Then take a clear photo of the receipt and upload it. BrandBee reviews it and pays you in coins.

Cashback offersLow rates
Cashback offers in BrandBee

Buy something from a store in the Cashback section. When I tested it, there were offers from retailers like Macy’s, Amazon and Best Buy, but the cashback rates were quite low. Read the conditions first. The reward is only credited after the store’s refund period clears.

How much can you make?

You will not earn a lot from BrandBee. Surveys pay around 30 to 50 coins, which is only $0.30 to $0.50 each, there are only a few surveys at any given time, and you have to qualify first.

There are also not a lot of cashback offers, and the rates are not that great. The new earning methods help, but in my opinion they are not enough to significantly increase your earnings. That is why I would say BrandBee’s earning potential is very low.

The older version, Mobile Performance Meter, had better earning potential in my opinion, because it let you earn passively.

Payout methods and minimums

RewardMinimumNotes
PayPal300 coins ($3)A recent addition. 100 coins = $1.
Gift cards: Amazon, Best Buy, Macy’s and moreFrom 300 coins ($3)Other gift cards need around 1,000 to 2,500 coins

The payment system is relatively straightforward, and I like that it now offers cash rewards. For more apps that pay cash, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

Who can join, and how

BrandBee does not list which countries it is available in. From what I can see, it is only available in a few, like the US and possibly Canada. The best way to check is to search for it on Google Play. If you find it, it is available in your country.

Install the app, open it, and sign up with your Google or Facebook account. If you were a member of Mobile Performance Meter, you have to sign up again, because old accounts were not carried over.

BrandBee is mobile only. It used to be Android only, but now there is an iOS version too. The app is user-friendly, with no annoying pop-up ads.

For questions, check the Help Center on the website. If you cannot find the answer, use the contact form on the website or in the app.
