But after the first two surveys, most surveys only pay around $0.20 to $0.50, and there are not a lot of them. Many readers also reported waiting days to weeks for their cashout, with no reply from support. Some were paid in the end. It is not a bad app, but it is not that good either.

Is BananaBucks legit and safe?
BananaBucks is legit, because you really earn money by completing surveys. But that does not automatically make it worth using. Here is what you should know.
- Readers report slow cashouts
From 2023 to March 2024, many readers wrote that they waited days to weeks for a PayPal cashout, and that support did not reply. Two of them later wrote that the payment arrived, after about 10 days and after about six weeks. Others did not report back.
- Low rewards after the first surveys
The first two surveys pay $1 and $0.50. After that, most surveys pay around $0.20 to $0.50, you will not always qualify, and there are not a lot of surveys. It takes some time to reach $5.
- Sign up, or you can lose your earnings
You can answer surveys right after you install the app, but that is not linked to an account. If you uninstall the app, you lose all your earnings. Sign up in the account settings first.
- Never use a VPN
Using a VPN to get surveys from another country is fraud. Most sites have strict security, so they find out, block you, and you lose your earnings.
My takeBananaBucks is not a bad survey app, in my opinion. However, it’s not that good, either. It can serve as a decent secondary app to earn from, in my opinion, but you have to set your expectations properly. Don’t expect to earn a lot from this app, even though it pays a decent amount for the first couple of surveys.
How you earn on BananaBucks
There are 2 ways to earn. Paid surveys are the main one. Tap one to read more.
Paid surveys$0.20–$0.50 each
The first time you open the app, you see two surveys: one pays $1, and a profile survey pays $0.50. You are automatically qualified for both.
After that, you see the “real” surveys. Most start with qualifying questions, and many take you to a partner survey provider. If you do not qualify, you move on to the next survey, if there is one.
These surveys pay a lot less, usually around $0.20 to $0.50. There are also not a lot of them, so do not be alarmed if there are none for you. The good part is that you can often complete one in a couple of minutes.
Daily Poll$0.02
The one constant opportunity is the Daily Poll: one question, no qualifying. It pays $0.02, which is not much, but it only takes a few seconds.

How much can you make?
Apart from the first two surveys, most surveys on BananaBucks do not pay a lot. Usually, you earn around $0.20 to $0.50 per survey you manage to complete, and you will not always qualify.
Overall, the earning potential of BananaBucks is quite low. That makes the low payout threshold a bit irrelevant, because it still takes some time before you can withdraw.

Every survey you complete is credited to your account balance. Once you have at least $5, you can withdraw to PayPal. It is the only payment method, so make sure you have a verified PayPal account first.

Using VPN on survey and Get-Paid-To sites is fraud, and you hurt a lot of people and businesses by doing this, and you are basically stealing from the site owners and this can not be justified for any reason, in my opinion. Also, most sites have strict security so they will find out when you use VPN, and they will block you, and you will lose your earnings. So if you want to use these sites, you have to do it honestly and stick to sites that are available in your country.

I did sorta like banana bucks in the beginning & as I was earning money but I agree it takes awhile to earn money, the main thing I don’t like is when I cashed out my money I haven’t received anything & I have contacted them numerous times so I can get my money but nothing, it clearly states on there app 1 business day they will get back with me but again still nothing, so in my opinion they are scammers or I would have gotten paid

As mentioned above, using VON is basically like stealing and long term fraud is not a way to earn. Also, you will get detected and just get banned.
