1Q App Review – Worth Your Time? (Full Details + Rating)

1Q App Rating

1Q can be an app worth using if you are eligible to become a member. However, you should set your expectations properly in terms of how much you can earn from it. But as an extra option is a decent choice.

I tested the 1Q app to see if answering its quick questions is worth your time. It is legit and pays $0.25 per question straight to PayPal, but you will not earn much. Below is what I found, and which sites I recommend if you want to earn more.

Personally Tested Re-tested Oct 2026

Legit and quick, but you will not earn much

$0.25 per question, paid to PayPal within minutes, with no payout threshold. Only in the US, UK and Canada.

Good for you ifYou live in the US, UK or Canada, have PayPal, and want an extra app for a few minutes a day.
Skip it ifYou want to earn a regular amount, or you live outside the US, UK and Canada.

The short answer

1Q is legit. It is a market research app that pays you $0.25 for every question you answer, straight to PayPal. There is no payout threshold, and a question takes only seconds.

But you will not earn a lot of money from it. How many questions you get depends on your profile, and sometimes there are none. It is only available in the US, UK and Canada. It is a decent extra option, not a main app to earn from.

What I like
  • No payout threshold
  • Offers a very simple way to earn
  • Pays via PayPal, within minutes
  • The app is very user-friendly
What I don’t like
  • Limited earning opportunities
  • Only offers one mode of payment
  • Only available in the US, UK and Canada
  • No desktop version for answering questions

My experience with 1Q

I installed the 1Q app and answered its questions. This is what I did myself, and what I did not test.

Is 1Q legit and safe?

Yes, 1Q is legit. It is a real app that pays you to answer questions. But that does not automatically make it worth your time. Here is what you should know.

  • You will not earn much

You earn $0.25 per question, and how many questions you get depends on your profile. Sometimes there is a decent number, sometimes there are none. Do not expect to earn hundreds of dollars from it.

  • Questions fill up fast

Most questions have a maximum number of answers. Once that is reached, you cannot earn from it. 1Q never emails you about new questions, so turn on the app’s push notifications and answer quickly.

  • Only three countries, and PayPal only

1Q is only available in the US, UK and Canada, and you must be 18 or older. You need a PayPal account to be paid, so create one before you sign up.

  • Mixed reader reports

One reader enjoys the app and the earnings. Another reader wrote in 2023 that they were charged $19.99 twice and never got a question. Joining 1Q is free, so check what you pay for if you see a charge.

My take1Q can be an app worth using if you are eligible to become a member. It is very simple to earn, and it does not take a lot of your time. You can just open the app and earn by spending a couple of minutes. But you should set your expectations properly in terms of how much you can earn from it.

1Q pays only small amounts. The top sites in your country give you more ways to earn.

How you earn on 1Q

There is one way to earn: answering questions. Tap it to read more.

Answering questions$0.25 per question
Questions in the 1Q app

The name 1Q is short for 1 question. When you open the app, you immediately see all the questions available to you. Each question is worth $0.25, and it only takes a few seconds to answer.

Sometimes you get a survey-type set with several questions. You are still paid per question, so a survey with four questions pays $1.

You can also get the questions by text message, if you give 1Q consent to send them through SMS. These are the same questions as in the app, and you just reply to the messages. This is a good option if you do not have a smartphone.

1Q never emails you about new questions. Turn on the push notifications of the app, so you do not have to keep opening it to check.

How much can you make?

Based on what I experienced when I tested it, you will not be able to earn a lot of money from 1Q. You earn $0.25 per question, and the number of questions mostly depends on your profile, so you cannot expect to earn a regular amount.

The time-to-money ratio is surprisingly good, though. At most, a question takes you a minute to answer, and that is only if your mobile internet is very slow.

To get more questions, update your profile regularly, for example when you move, get a new job, get married or have a baby. And do not ignore the push notifications: most questions close once enough people have answered.

Payout method, minimum and speed

MethodMinimumSpeed
PayPalNone. Every question pays $0.25.Within minutes after you answer

PayPal is the only payout method. Because you are paid for every question, you never have to wait to reach a payout threshold. If you want more sites with this method, see the top sites that pay via PayPal.

  1. I got charged $19.99 by 1Q and never got a single question. Infact they’ve charged my account twice for $19.99. I have asked for my money back. I’ll let you know if I get it. But I doubt it. It’s turned out to cost meoney.
